I know Trevor Mayr is going to have a new board coming out with hyperlite, does anyone have any pictures or news of any other boards for next year?

Just saw the graphics on Trevors board last night. So pumped for him. Almost makes me want to ride a Hyperlite.
But that's the only 2016 that I've seen.

I know JD Webb has a new boat board coming for 2016 and Aaron Rathy has a good amount of changes to his shape. Both have been posted on Butch's instagram page. I'm wondering if Hyperlite will do a new Murray pro model for 2016 since it will be 20 years of pro model boards for him.

I feel like the clip of Chris abadie in the real wake teaser is just like a default graphic or something for when they r testing out new shapes.

Considering those 2016 Catalogs from Hyperlite/Byerly havent been submitted to dealers Im going to assume someone at HO is getting a quick lesson in how to password protect those files.
Overall the lineup looks great and I'm stoaked Maur got his own board this year. It's also nice to see them offer the System bindings in a low cut option so riders dont have to take a hacksaw to the highbacks! Sad to see the Tribute shape go, but I want give the Wishbone shape a few laps at the cable.
Wakesurf lineup looks cool.
Not sure how I feel about their Gromcast kids board being a 54" length though. Thats bigger than the Victoria Factor I ride at 52" and WAYYY longer than both the Phase5 Scamp at 45" and the Victoria Debut Grom at 48". Surprised Hyperlite didnt make that a little smaller even at 50".
The new Time Machine surf style board looks fun. Curious to see if Noah Flegel will be riding that or the Quad in comps next year. Nice to see they are running Futures fin boxes so you can fine tune the ride with different fins. I'd like to know the specs on the hyperlite and byerly future fins. I wonder if they are just carbon copies of a futures template or unique shapes.
Noahs HiFi skim is still an EPS foam core. Was hoping they would switch that to a stiffer PVC core like Victoria and Phase5 offer. The HiFi has a great shape, just feels a little slugish and flexy compared to the higher end skims. Hyperlite already uses a stiff PVC in their Nova Core wakeboards so they have the means to make it happen.
On the Byerly side of things, I love the graphics for 2016. Cool to see they offer a Park Flex and Boat Flex in the same boards so if someone likes that shape they can fine tune it to what they will be riding.
The new Action skim looks like a nice alternative to the HiFi skimboard, but holy wow is that a lot of fins. I'd want to try that with just the single center fin.
Wakeskate wise, I'm glad all the boards are the same being a solid wood concave, enduro grind base and ABS sidewall. Simple clean graphics and a nce construction that can handle rails and park laps.

Here are the '16 slingshot jewel boots. Only sling shot '16 boots that I've found so far. From my casual observation/nonprofessional information, here is what I found to be different:
-the internal liner raises up higher in the back of the boot, maybe for more support front to back?
-some grey colored soft material around the heal-hold down, also soft material on the back of the boot. I'm not sure if that's just for looks or maybe it allows more flex in those areas for tweaking grabs/presses?
-looks like there might be an improved heal-hold down strap because this one actually sticks out a lot more than previous boots
*i know this is the jewel boot, but this boot is pretty similar the to Rad boot essentially
Also, looks like the Shredtown boots are going with a slick camo theme color on the outside of the boot? If that's the case, pretty fly once again.

Looks like everyone has seen lots of the 2016 Gear, its always exciting to see what's new! Here are the Hyperlite and Byerly Catalog Online Links: For 2016 Hyperlite is releasing 4 new decks for our 25th year in the game; 1. Shaun Murray's 20th Anniversary Pro Model, such a sick shape 2. JD Webb's new Relapse, he's been crushing it on that shape 3. Trever Maur's new Vagabond, I put some details in the Hyperlite 2016 thread and our new cable Board, the Wishbone, our best park deck to date.
We are also introducing the LowBack System Binding, I've had my highbacks cut down for the past 3 seasons, absolutely love the feel, have no issues edging without them. JD & Jim also have new Comp Vests, JD=Side Zip, Jimmy=Front Zip, We also have 4 new Handles for 2016 (Murray/Rusty/JD/Jim) New Surfer is the Time Machine, been riding it a few times, so much fun, easy 3's, super fast and easy to accelerate and hit brakes and it's made with a 100% cork top, no eva needed, provides all the traction you need and gets tackier the longer it's
2016 Books
Byerly: http://issuu.com/hyperlite/docs/byerlyboards_2016
Hyp: http://issuu.com/hyperlite/docs/hyperlitewake_2016
And on the Byerly note, it's been a decade since Mr. Byerly started his brand and I really like the look of the line for 2016. The Felix is a hit, same with the Buzz, Rathy has a new shape, the ARII, very light and super easy to ride with great pop. Rathy put a lot of time into this one. If any of you have tried the Buck, we're now offering it in a Flex layup with a sintered base for the park. The Action is a new skim style surfer with 5 fin placements, haven't ridden it, but watched Scott tear it up during the shoot.
If you have any questions let me know...
Thanks - Nelson

Greg,
Huge fan of what JD is doing on a wakeboard. He is by far my favorite rider out there. Taking tricks and doing them in ways that NO BODY is doing them. cannot wait for the 2016 season to begin!!

Found some little pics of the new Slingshot gear. Not all of it, but most of the boards and one of the boots. I'm surprised they haven't come out with an online catalogue yet. Some of the graphics look sick. Always expect that from Slingshot year after year. Looks like they might have made slight alterations to the RAD boot. Only disappointment is the sharp increase in price of some of the boards. The Recoil, Response, and Reflex should not be that expensive. Those shapes haven't changed in years. Maybe trying to cover costs from R&D from the new Fasttrack system??

Yea I saw that after I posted that. But I'm not too sure those prices are accurate on that particular dealer site. The Shredtown board used to be $549 and is now $399...seems too good to be true. We will see once Slingshot updates the final 2016 line to their website this month.

Just walked through Surf Expo SS had the best looking boards I could see. Next I would say the Byerly gear was incredible. Ronix booth was like a fortress and Humanoid army tent was just getting set up. Such a really cool show to check out. Today was set up so did not get to see everything. There was a small what looked like an inboard boat called WT 2 or WT 10 something like that. Was in its own very tiny booth by BU. Looked to be some sort of surf boat. Have to say the Supreme boat I saw looked pretty damn impressive. I am sure there will be a ton of posts tomorrow when the show starts

Those boards me be listed at msrp or whatever right now because they're brand new.
Will see if they come down during normal sales time.
If not there will always be blemboard...

Does slingshot have some new board sizes this year?
Look at the Active Wake Site:
http://www.activewake.com/wake/2016-...html?limit=all
It says Response comes in 137 / 142 / 147? Is that right, a 147? The biggest board in that line used to be a 145.
There is also a 144 Oli option, and looks like the Windsor is now available in a 145 also?
I would be soooo stoked if the response was a 147 for the big size instead of 145. I would be really happy if they would offer a Choice in larger than 142 also, but I don't see the 2016 choice yet....
Anyone know what's up? Are these typos, mistakes? Or do we have some new, larger board size options in 2016?

So I emailed slingshot and they confirmed the Response moves from a 145 to a 147 next year. Same width and tip/tail width as the previous 145 size. They just made my decision on gear for next year... was considering a close out 2015 but now I'm waiting and getting a new 147!
Can only assume then that the rest of the larger sizes are accurate as well (Windsor, Terrain, Oli)
