Build Muscle Memory - This trick will be similar to the Indy grab. Prepare for this grab by doing several wake jumps using the following technique. Once you're in the air, you are going to want to over-emphasize bringing your right leg up to your body, while leaving your left leg somewhat extended. Next, extend both of your legs to prepare for landing. If you don't, you're most likely going to dig your tip/nose into the water and face plant. Don't try to grab yet, that's Step 2. Once you're solid on this activity, move on to Step 2.
- Get Your Grab On - Now all you have to do is let go of the rope with your right hand and reach down with your arm (not your body) and grab the tail end of the board. Once you feel the board, grab onto it like it's a wad of $100 bills.
Once you've mastered the tail grab and it has become second nature to you, try tweaking or boning it out. You can also try combining it with one of your more difficult wake tricks (i.e. 180's, flips, spins, etc.).
