Brian, try the Franchise. You will be surprised at how hard it pops and how fast it is on the water. I always rode aggressive three stage boards and love how the Franchise performs. It is an awesome shape.

The guy that said \"ride a Murray\", he doesn't know what he's talking about. Probably doesn't even wakeboard. I've not ridden the Harley, but I would say you want to ride either the Franchise or…the Murray!

stephan made a post in this thread: Wake Island
I've been there the past three weekends and have now ridden on a Saturday, a Sunday and a Monday. According to the people there, some days are more crowded than others and it might just randomly be a Tuesday, just depends on the week. I got there ...

stephan made a post in this thread: Looking for used wakeboard for big guys
For a large beginner a 138 is too small. I'd say you want at least a 142 and would be better off with a 144+. Also go with a more mellow shape than the Marek, its not the best beginner board there is. For Hyperlite, check out the 142 Tribute or 14...

stephan made a post in this thread: Wakeboard technology
The top level stuff has progressed and a lot of the shapes are more user friendly. Most of the lower level boards today are basically slightly tweaked pro models of old. Besides flex boards, regular wakeboards are still just foam and fiberglass. M...

stephan made a post in this thread: How Many Days In a Row Can You Wakeboard?
If you go for it, make sure you are taking care of your body. Lots of good stretching and excellent nutrition. Plenty of bananas and spinach and likely some glucosamine to keep the joints feeling good. It definitely can be done, personally I get b...

They are good about marking it, just watch for the white buoys. Naci at 30% is still quite full. They aren't releasing a whole lot and I doubt it will get too far below 30% before August.

stephan made a post in this thread: Thoughts on the new Hyperlite System bindings and boots ?
Last week at the cable I wore my Process boots from 11am to 8pm without taking them off once. I would say they are pretty dang comfortable.

Looks like I'll be heading back on Saturday. Anyone going to be out there? It will be an early morning, but hoping to roll in right at opening.

stephan made a post in this thread: Got out of jury duty
To the OP, I think it would have been a lot cooler if you stuck it to the perp. It would have been a lost day or two but since you seem to be all about justice, you could have made sure a guilty verdict was reached. I get called up up at least o...
