skiboarder made a post in this thread: To Wax or Not to Wax.....
If you want to remove wax, buy a "wax pickle" off of Amazon. It is freaky. At room temp I scrape the bulk of the wax and then go over the rest with the pickle. I can completely strip a 6-0 in 5 minutes.

skiboarder made a post in this thread: What have you all lost over the years?
My ability to run more than a few yards at a time. I had a major knee injury 3 years ago, but strangely enough, I have made a full recovery on the water. Re-learning tricks at 36 that I originally learned at 20 has been rough, but I really feel li...

skiboarder made a post in this thread: Using small ski line section for pain?
I first saw this with trick skiiers about 15 years ago. It is a great cure for yank-arm. I have 5ft section of cable rope directly in front of my handle. You can't feel any stretch and it really dampens the shock.

skiboarder made a post in this thread: Hyperlite Marek 140 or 145cm?
Stability, smoother landings, forgiveness, more glide speed. The only downside is areal maneuverability and as a beginner/Intermediate rider, that is secondary to riding away. I'm 175lb advanced rider and would be on a william 145 if I could find ...

skiboarder made a post in this thread: Wakefoiler - Anyone Tried It?
FYI, You are looking at about an extra $75 to finish it out. If you don't have any of the fiberglass stuff and hardware. The mast to the fuselage is the trickiest part I can see. I've started by making it up and creating a jig to hold it in place...

skiboarder made a post in this thread: Wakefoiler - Anyone Tried It?
I just got the kit today. It is just wood machined to sizes and shapes. I have a game plan on how I want to glass it together and the hardware I want to use. I have hit up james on my design tweaks and I am waiting on his input. I'm not a woodwo...

skiboarder made a post in this thread: Wakesurfing with Kids on Your Shoulders Video
My daughter is 6 and I have never pushed wakeboarding on her. Last year she got up a few times, but this year she has hit it like a maniac. Even though she is getting more and more comfortable on her own, I still let her take at least one stand be...
