And if the wake is balanced properly, typically, the landing wake is always washy because the rider is pulling on the boat over from the opposite side of the wake.

In my 02 SAN 210, I run about 2500lb's + 4-6 people normally. Most of the riders who come with me ride 70-75ft at 23.5-24.2mph, while some ride at 80ft at 24.5mph. My normal set up is 26.7mph at 90ft.

Was going to say the same thing as Jeffrey above, you're letting the handle get up and away from you. Keep the handle down around your stomach and it will help you hold onto the handle as you come around. Good luck!
