Moomba will not have the same and is not intended to have the same fit and finish / plushness of master crafts, thus why if you were to go buy a new boat today, the MC would cost double what the moomba does. Moombas are intended to allow average ...

I use these for raft ups and for tying up to wooden docks all the time without an issue. I can forsee an issue the the wooden dock has no sides for the ball to rest against however.
