2009 Ronix CSV2 140
Chad Sharpe has the largest recorded double up, with 56 frames of film captured from wake to landing. Now he has addedeven more kick to his board with a slightly more explosive hybrid rocker line. The Viva carries as much speed up the wake ashis previous continuous rocker shapes but with more of a vertical 3-stage snap leaving the wake. This high-end chargersets a slightly mellower initial edge, but once on edge carries riders tricks further out into the flats. Effortless high speedcarves and a more forgiving rail design.
Riding Style - The Viva has a freeride feel setting an edge with more speed out of the turn. A board you gain confidence with as you get on the gas with the increased glide from a new more buoyant variable rail. Chads new speedy hybrid rocker combines the speed needed to make any wake transfer seem effortless, with more vertical kick once in air. Fabricated of a hybrid carbon/glass weave and machined out of our new Dark core blank - up to 20% lighter than ourother secret squirrel concoction. The Dark core has a three-month cooking time before all of the properties have totallycured and machined into a blank. This type of material is now common in big ships because it always wants to recoilto its original structure. This added energy means a board will want to maintain its rocker line through a transition, trough ofthe wake and impacts on landings more so than a traditional construction. A stiffer, lighter, alternative, demanding coresetting the standards for riders looking for the most refined creation available. Our team has spent the past couple yearstweaking the flex, while our engineers made sure it was stronger than any other construction. More than just anothercore our team swears by it.
