2009 Ronix DHV2 138
Danny Harfs new signature ride pioneers the evolution of variable rails. Shallow molded fins, new angled bevels with a fuller mid rail set the pace of this mellower freeride inspired shape. As a riders weight shifts back, the variable rail transitions to a sharper rail and bevel in the tail so the board can hook up with a strong predictable edge up the wake every time. A new quicker rocker line with reduced friction on the water will let any soul turn connoisseur upgrade their travels off the kicker.
Riding Style - Our best selling series was fine tuned for this year combining an even smoother transitioned carve and a slightly speedier classic 3-stage boot off the wake. The One series has a relaxed feel with a surf inspired rail design, riding higher with less friction on the water. Soul turns will never die with the true freeride legend. Fabricated of a hybrid carbon/glass weave and machined out of our new Dark core blank - up to 20% lighter than ourother secret squirrel concoction. The Dark core has a three-month cooking time before all of the properties have totallycured and machined into a blank. This type of material is now common in big ships because it always wants to recoilto its original structure. This added energy means a board will want to maintain its rocker line through a transition, trough ofthe wake and impacts on landings more so than a traditional construction. A stiffer, lighter, alternative, demanding coresetting the standards for riders looking for the most refined creation available. Our team has spent the past couple yearstweaking the flex, while our engineers made sure it was stronger than any other construction. More than just anothercore our team swears by it.
