2008 Hyperlite Murray
The Hyperlite Murray binding is a super lightweight high-end binding. Over all comfort and performance has been achieved. The closed-toed wakeboard boot is quickly tightened up with a dual cinch lace system. A linerless construction makes the Murray boot one of the lightest boots on the market. Don't worry about stiffness. The 2008 Murray Binding has removable stiffeners to customize the boot from a flexible steeze machine to a stiff snowboard boot feel. You choose. Available in black or white.

I bought these in 2009 and got three years in of wakeboarding easily less than 10 times a year. They were great and had great feel, support, and comfort. Started riding cable in 2012 and they started to fall apart really bad. Laces came loose within seconds. Stitching tore out for lace straps. Plastic behind heel began to tear away too. Great while they lasted, but deteriorated in a very short time after not riding very hard

these bindings hurt my feet. i got to use them as a demo pair while my bindings got warantied. something about the strab and the side walls would pinch into my foot whenever i would move or jump. the tops of my feet got destroied. I’m so glad i didnt spend money on these bindings

boots took a while to break in. i took the stiffiners out. heel a and toe lift was horrible! at least 1/4 inch each way. plus the plastic mounting bracket started to tear away from the boots themselves... ( im 6’1 and 215lbs. but still not good. but the guys at hyperlite exchanged the boots for the 09 murrays. so im satisfied. overall... not a good buy

overall an amazing boot but with floors, good feel but can take some wearing in, would be a better boot if instead of the top lace there is a torque twist and the attachments for bindings to board were quick release never the less great alround boots congrates hyperlite and of cause mr Murray...

I bought these cause well they are closed toes and Murrays. But i would suggest taking out stiffeners and puttin some socks on while breaking them in....helps out a lot...But provides great ankle support....and if you find your laces are kinda long do like I did....cut them!! But overall great bindings

Great binding!!! Bought a set on clearance so got them half price :-0
very light compared to my 2006 shane
also makes my board feel more responsive and easy to tweak.
if you can still get a set

best binding i ever owned, havent tried it out yet,but i put it on the board and played around on the floor and could move as if the board were my own feet, only downside you need to wear socks with this particular boot because it tends to rub your caf and it makes getting in and out of the boot easier which was already pretty easy.

At first I wasn’t sure I wanted to buy them, but I’m glad I did. These are by far the most comfortable and best performing bindings I have ever ridden. I would definitely suggest these to someone looking to get some new bindings.

These boots are awesome! First two sets in them I asked myself why I bought them. After 1)breaking them in, 2)removing the plastic things, and 3)putting in the footbed raiser, they are worth every penny! Definitely the most comfortable, supportive, and easy boots I’ve ever worn (had the 2006 Parks and ’07 Proofs before these). Plus, the white boots look really sweet on my ’08 Tribute.

I feel a follow up is necessary here.....after having broken in the bindings....they get better!!!......no issues with the tongue hurting.....and wearing socks with them like murray does....absolutely make these bindings incredible......no movement...no slippage...nothing.......every inch of your foot is wrapped and locked in. the laces are highly efficient...easy to tighten...you dont feel like your gonna rip the boot apart like in some bindings. I wore the watson ot before....but these are technologically a step above.

these boots are amazing. they are so comfortable its like your wearing just socks. As far as people complaining about it hurting your leg, i havnt had any of that going on. there is a little slippage on hard landings but nothing to worry about. Great bindings overall...i def. recommend them to anyone.

The complements I have for this boot are the footbed is super good and the one liner is nice for weight and durablility. But, these boots are uncomfortable around your leg (actually hurt my leg). Got a bunch of nonsense stuff on them, making them some work to put on. Had some heel movement going on. I hate hyperlite’s claw, they strip all the time. Feel like old uncomfortable snowboard boots.

Exellent Binding...easy in and out , tight fitting easy to lace. the tongue is hard at first and can hurt your shin....but that goes away once broken in.
it would be nice if the foot bed was a little grippier , on big jumps I sometimes feel my foot move a little.

Very awesome bindings, easy to get on and off. Outstanding support and great control both heelside and toeside. These bindings took me to the next level.

These boots are awsome but i have a problem with my front foot sliding foward and hitting my big toe if i happen to case the wake. I think my big toe is broken now and i have the proper size. If you wear a half size you might want to size up one size and wear socks with them since i heard the is what murry does anyway.. These boots will give you the softest landings for sure and i love them for that fact alone with big air.

I love the bindings until i fall.... they have a good hold for a good bit of time but you will go through a set quickly... its a good binding though

The most comfortable binding i have ever ridden. Has the support i need as well as the feel of a pillow when you land out in the flats. Would reccommend this binding to everyone.

Great boots but a little more flimsy and less comfortable than my Ronix Cell boots. Would recommend the Murray’s but if you are thinking about getting these boots, it won’t hurt to try on the Cells as well - they both have advantages. I like the spring-like bottom to these boots, don’t like how Hyperlite is still using clamps to attach the boots to the board. Overall 4/5

love the selfmolding footbed cushion...the stiffners lets you pick your ankle support. The cushion spring design really makes a difference on the landings. I tried a lot of boots last year...the shanes, watson’s, cells, ones, zeus.....but by far Hyperlite did their homework with these boots. They are truly awesome. Finally found something I look forward to riding season after season....instead of riding it one season and getting tired of it before the next. These are a must try...you will love them! One piece liner is a great idea as well. I bet the Byerly’s ride the same...

this is by far the best boot. I thouhgt my Ronix Cells were great. This surpasses them. Seem very light. the stifferner pieces are awesome. You can adjust how much support you want in the ankle. Love the ankle strap...missed that support changing from my belmonts to the cells...but it is back and it is awesome. Love the one piece liner constrution. The liners coming out and getting jammed down in my boot was geeting very old. The problem is gone with these. Worth evry penny for these boots. got to give these a try. I think you will agree that they truly are a great boot. Great job..HYPE!
