2008 CWB Faction
Lots of changes this year for the already-successful Faction boot. Now with a 1 piece, lycra lined heel, the rider will get maximum ankle support on that heel-edge. Also new is the 6 plate-- a smaller profile baseplate nearly 2 lbs lighter than the previous plate used. Most importantly this binding now uses our Switch Hinge technolgy where the lever folds down towards the rider's heel, keeping out of the way and enhancing what is already a super-clean look-- not to mention the binding is decked out in houndstooth!

Very comfortable boots, nice tight fit too. Only problem is the material starting peeling off after one summer. Boots stayed inside when not in use too. About half the leather like material has come off.

By far the most comfortable boot I’ve ever worn. CWB makes awesome bindings, and the hinge tech was as easy to use as I imagined. Great for cable parks, which was my primary use. After a really busy 2009 season, they started to wear down, so I sent them in to CWB as they were still under the 2 year warranty. A brand new pair of 09 CWB Faction bindings just arrived today, and I could not be happier! Hopefully I’ll be getting another 2 years out of these, as well :)

These bindings are so comfortable its amazing! The bedding feels like your standing on a feather pillow. The hinge really locks you in with absolutely no heal lift. Entry/exit is a piece of cake, so easy you can do it dry. The laces tuck away nicely and out of the way. The support of this binding is very good with some top flex so you can move around for your grabs.

These are very good bindings, the comfort is awesome, the new hinge works a lot better than the old one, having the hinge makes it feel like you can control the board a lot better

These boots are far the best I ever used. It feels like you have a comfortable pair of tennis shoes on.
