2008 CWB Answer
Like the Zeus, the Answer is another closed toe hinge binding offered by CWB. The most significant difference however, is that the heel and toe piece are slightly shorter than the Zues. This seemingly small change has a huge impact on mobility in the rider's ankles-- allowing you to get your tweak on with those grabs you've always been reaching for.

I would definitely recommend these bindings to anyone who wants to ride. I would recomend them for 2 main reasons. First, I love the Hinge technology!!! It allows for super easy entry and exit; i never use soap!!! Second, I love the closed toe feature. I have noticed a huge difference between the open toe and closed toe bindings. The board is so much more responsive because the binding touches more foot. It take less effort to edge with them and also in the winter runs your toes don't have to freeze!!! My only complaints are the base plate on the bindings. I have completely ripped the bindings off the board twice. I ride really hard on my gear so that is why they broke. It is something about this year's model base plate that doesn't work for me. CWB has warrented both pairs off bindings without questions. Also the leather on the back of the binding will peel occasionally. Warrenty will cover that if you care about looks. :)

So far sooo Good! Been out twice with them. I paired it up with an 07 Marius Plat. talk about featherlight! I went bigger than ever before, the reduced weight helps tremendously with popping off. great support overall and cushions on the flat landings. Congrats CWB for making a sick binding!

I honestly wouldnt buy these bindings again. The top laces keep coming loose while im riding and I have to tie them in a knot to keep them tight. Buy the byerly or hyperlite 3ds. Not a big fan of the laces.

Ok i got these bindings a few months ago with an 07 ronix covin. Ive been riding them for the whole summer, just learning w2w and 180s and stuff, but now im getting into bigger airs the landings are starting to bother me. There are a few pressure points that can be overlooked on simple moves but big moves hurt my feet on the landings. I would recommend these bindings for a beginner rider because they are good and supportive but not too stiff, good for learning grabs and early tricks. But i have to say unfortunately that big airs out into the flats are very difficult with these bindings when they push into your feet upon landings

These bindings are amazing. They look good and are super comfortable. Best I’ve ever had.

Great boot. the best i have ever had. The only down side to them is the smaller plate. Which is alot lighter but makes you not able to get your stance out as wide as a standered plat.

I like my Answers a lot. They have great hold down and really support your entire foot. The segmented toe piece really works well in CT and the end is incredibly soft on the toes. The new switch Hinge is pretty sick, really cleans up the lines of the boots & the snakeskin outer looks pretty tough. These things are great and I can’t wait til they get broken in. Right now I ride with the top laces pretty loose but cinch em up and they are incredibly supportive. Try em & love em.
