2008 Ronix Kai
Inspired from our friends on the islands with a hemp outer shell and an ergonomic foundation. With a Kai boot, eight minutes in a shop and a cooker takes care of years worth of riding during the ol break in period. For any riding style looking for comfort, ease of entry and closed toe performance. Haoles, you should probably look into another boot.

This is one awesome binding. Very light and very comfy. Only one drawback. The laces have a sleeve that covers them and after one summer of boarding, the sleeve ripped away exposing the white lace within. Now it just gets all bunched at the points when i release the tensioner. The lace hasn’t broke yet, but if the system did that to the sleeve, i imagine its only time for the lace. Now lets see if Ronix is cool enough to fix the problem and hand me a new lace..... we’ll see. Anyway, this boot is everything i’ve ever dreamed of. I hope i can keep riding it.

The Kai’s are super comfortable. Easy in and out yet hold really well. They support my intermediate abilities well and haven’t failed to hold. A friend rode my Frontier/Kai combination recently and threw some huge inverts with no issues - all around a great looking, comfortable, supportive boot.

Great boot, slightly cheaper than the other ronix boots but still has the intuition liner which is all i wanted, great allround boot and super easy entry, great boots to ride in...
