2007 Liquid Force Watson OT
With the success of Watsons Pro-Plate boot in 06, one wondered how he could improve on this design Shawn has brought us the answer in 07.After trying Shanes closed toe boot this season, Shawn knew that he wanted something similar. He felt the dramatically increased leverage and edging power, as well as the precise edge control he got with the closed toe. What Shawn came up for 07 was a hybrid of sorts between his '06 binding and Shanes '06 binding. Shawns new boot remains the stiffest boot in our line and has plenty of new Watson features and improvements. The boot that defined innovation, comfort and performance in 2006, has just gotten better thanks to Watson and the LF design crew. If youre not a fan of the closed toe design, dont worry. Shawns open toe design remains in our lineup and incorporates all of the improvements Watson put into his new closed toe design.

I’ve wasted tons of $$$ on boots that seemed fine in the shop but gave me cramp or were not supportive enough but finally here’s a pair that deliver exactly what I need. Great comfort and support. I can ride for hours in these. Fantastic!

These bindings are unbelievable. They dont get more comfortable then the Watson OT. I hav eno trouble getting in them dry, and you will not come out of them in the water. Land a nasty invert, or any other crash, and you are ready to go again without having to trackdown the board. If you are thinking about getting them, just do it. Trust me.

Coming off a pair of 2003 Hyperlite Splits, I am amazed at the progress that has been made in the binding world. These are the most comfortable bindings I have ever worn, and the amount of support is unreal. Preferred the open toe model after my feet kept sliding forward and smashing my toes on hard landings (but I guess thats what happens with a size 13 foot).

I am soooo happy with these. I’ve ridden, alpha’s, parks, Belmont, factions, and ultra sucs and the watson’s pummel them. I have bad ankles and the support is definitely there. I have no problem getting in them dry, much less with water. I haven’t needed boot lube yet. I’ve had some nasty spills this year, some sweet face plants and the like, still have yet to come off. Yet, when I’m done riding, pop off the laces and I’m out. My feet have never felt this comfortable. Its my stamina giving out before feet pain, a first for me. I let a lot other people ride them and I haven’t seen any wear or tear yet...knock on wood. If you like a stiff feel, you won’t be disappointed.

I have the 2006 Open toe Watsons. I love them and feel they are one of the best on the market but I broke one boot in half. The entire base just broke when I came up short on a backroll. LF replaced them under warranty and I have a new pair of 2007’s on the way.

I have always had trouble gettin into bindings, I got the 05’ Byerlys just for eas of entry but still needed lube and sounds dumb but also shaved the top of my foot to slide in better. BUT these new Watsons...UNBELIEVABLE first time I have ever got bindings on and off in the basement...not even near lube/water/shaver they open up nice and you just slip them on. They tighten up nice and tight and are VERY comfy, good support. Only worry is the durability most reviews on the 06’ Watsons were not very good on that part, seems they fell apart Im hopin LF got that figured out, we will see by the end of summer.

Everybody’s feet are different. For me, this is by far, the best binding I have ever put on. I like a stiff, supportive binding. These are it. Not a fan of close toe, just not for me. I tried on the CWB Zues at the same time as the Watsons. For me the Zues’s were not a match. Very highly recomend these.
