2007 Ronix Vault 144
Redefining the versatility of board shapes for toe/heelside demands. A ride that takes into consideration that your body is working against the boat on your toeside, yet rides higher with a quick release on your heelside.

Very good feel! First 20 feet of riding and you’ll like this board. Board is a little loose when not on edge but I like a board that really tracks (liquid force axis). I currently own this board, the ronix one, ronix covin, ronix venue, liquid force axis, ronix frontier, hyperlite state. Currently selling my ronix one, ronix covin and ronix venue because the vault was the best board of them all. Get a good approach set up and this board pops great. Fairly soft on landings I thought. For the money, one of the top three boards on the market.

I have ridden the vault for a week, will be trying different boards to see which one I keep. The Vault is a slower board like the Premier/state. Real loose when finless. Liked it a little better with a .7 A wing. Great pop but because of how flat it is it trasistions slow from coasting to edge. Didn’t really care for the thinned out heelside edge. Being 245 I had to set up back foot heavy or the edge would bury on a hard cut and catch front binding. The toeside shape forces you to edge hard but not to progress into it. you are either flat or edging hard. Lands alot harder than I was used to with my Parks, Premier, or state. Probably because it is flat and you have more of a straight up pop, but it is very forgiving. Could go back to this board. Coming from Parks I probably need to learn to ride this style of board more. Pops great with the mellow 3 stage.
