2007 Hyperlite Murray 142
The Murray series is designed for riders looking for the pop of a three-stage board, but the consistency of a continuous rocker line. The Murray initiates a slightly mellower turn and releases quicker off the wake than the rest of our pro-model boards - plus offers the added individuality of a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted top graphic.

This board feels like a tank...in the mud!!! It is slow and slips around until it gains traction on edge. I get tired trying to throw this thing around in the air. There are definitely better boards out there.

This board is amazing, the edge hold is so good that it allows me to focus on my pop instead of edging, has increased my 2 wake jump height by several feet, compared to my old obrien, the Abs sidewall helps me hold grabs way better 2
surface and wake 2 wake 360s are super smooth, the continuos rocker helps with that. Tracks amazing and still allows super quick power slides, lip slides, and surface 180s, even though it says intermediate to advanced, it is a great board to help anyone imrove, amazign pop and great take off, will help me a lot on my upcomign tantrum attempt

This is the best board I’ve ever riden. It has the forgiveness of a continuous rocker, but the pop of a 3-stage. The exagerated rocker does produce a little more spray than most boards, but this is not noticeable once you get on edge. Landings are very soft. Release off of the wake seems to be good. Only drawback I’ve found is the release for doing ollies is a bit slow. I really have to push to get big ollies.

I’m definatley not advanced enough to do this board full justice, but I have had the chance to ride several different Mfg’s and types of boards, and this thing kick ass! It rides very high in the water, but tracks like its glued down, even without fins. I still don’t think it pops like a 3-stage, but launches much farther! It made getting wake to wake a lot easier(we don’t have a very big wake to play with), and it lands like a pillow!! I thought riding a "pro" model board would be difficult, but it has actually helped me get better by being so stable. I do think the graphics (especailly the Abigram logo)on my ’06 model are nicer than the ’07 hand painting and all. Spins are a little tougher with this length of board, and it’s a little heavy, but how can you beat a Mfg (Hyperlite) that almost encourages you to beat the hell out of their product- see "ABS Sidewall".
