2007 Hyperlite Era 142
The Era series rides higher in the water than any of our other three-stage boards. The Fret Rail Design allows the board to set a quick turn and has less friction on the water. This is our most universal three-stage rocker.

This board is off the freakn hook! Its as bad as you want, or as well behaved as you want. Just depends on how aggressive you want to ride. With the bolt on fins it tracks great,.. but you can cut it loose by just taking off the center fins for surface tricks. Its really 2 boards in one. With all the fins on, it is a Wake 2 Wake riders dream. Sticks the landings real smooth, all the pop you want, all the speed you want, all the control you need. Take the fins off and it still tracks decent but is loose enough to do all those butter lipslides, boardslides and surface 360’s with very little effort. I own and ride two Era boards, the 142 and the 147. I like a little bigger board when the water is ruff. This might be the only board you will ever need unless you do alot of railing as the molded in fins might get in the way of larger rails but that would be true of most boards, it still rails like a mug. The bottom of the board is unique in that it is somewhat bowl shaped which makes for nice soft landings and it also helps with the surface tricks. I’m telling you, this board is a great choice for any level rider, no way to go wrong here.

This board is pretty tight. it sits higher so the speed is amazing. not as wide as some other boards but stil has some nice lift and pop and soft landings, sliders suck because of molded in fins get caught on some wide rails, tracks well with 2 fins and 4 molded in. spinning is not the best but not the worst its ok, overall pretty good board. i recommend for all types of riders, beggining to advanced.
