2007 CWB Faction
Released mid way through '06, the Faction sold out five times. Placed between the high end Zeus and the intermediate level Torq, the Faction is the answer to the riders who want a locked in ride without a super high wrap. Dubbed as the Hinge Tech (patent pending) boot with the flex of a low cut, this boot allows for presses as dirty as they come. The Articulated Toe lives here too, along with T-bar and a hidden lace system over the toe. The molded heel rubber is lined with neoprene for solid firm heel hold down. This boot is cleaner than Jeff Houses teeth. Built around a movement, this is just one of the products that is the Faction for '07. Be a part of the Faction.

Great bindings for the first season then the heel bruises started. This season on my first big jump out into the flats I buised my heels again so I am done with these. Might try the 2008 Factions if they changed the footbed.

I just got a pair of these on closeout for $159. Best buy on bindings I’ve ever seen. I know they’re a couple years old, but man these are sweet bindings. They are a little tight across the top of the foot, but will stretch after a few more rides. They don’t have a lot of upper ankle support. So if you like that find something else. My feet are firmly planted on the board, but I like the freedom of being able to move my ankles more. Great binding. I highly recommend it.

Overall, positive aspects of these bindings include significant heel support, comfort, and ease of entry. My only complaint is that I must constantly tighten the bindings between runs because there isn’t enough stable support above the ankle. For such an innovative binding, I’m surprised by this apparent flaw.

I have had these boots for about 2 years and now the strings that tighten the bindings are ripping. The part that covers the actual string is ripping off leaving only a small string that doesnt hold it tight very long and this makes the binding come loose. overall i like these bindings but this is a problem that i have with them

Learned to ride in these and will only used hinged boots from now on. Loved the custom feeling of the fit.

I never thought we would ever see a binding that was easy to get into and out of with good support. This binding is everything you could ask for. Easy entry, comfort, good support, easy exit. I questioned durability upon initial purchase, but after nearly a year of riding, I have yet to have a problem.

Best bindings there are. Amazing in all aspects. Easy to get in. Great support and the most comfortable things I have ever put my feet in. If you are thinking about buying any other bindings, I strongly urge you to reconsider. CWB really impressed me with the Faction.

These are great bindings, best pair ive ever put on, Easy to get in and out of, and comfort once broke in Incredible... Interested to see how long the hinge system holds up though. Alot of areas where the technology could mess up.
My sister has the female version she loves them also!!! A must buy

The best things ever. They are just like snowboard bindings for those who snowboard including myself. They start off a little stiff but once you use them a few times they are better. Also you might have to tighten the backs alittle becasue when I got mine they were a little loose.

The first day I rode these beindings they killed my feet for the first 30 minutes, but after that they were like pillows. The hinge tech is a brilliant technology. They loosened up and ride liek champs, and I love the mid wrap, they make methods and tweaking out indy’s a piece of cake.

best binding but its a very heavy binding. i have mine set up on a trancend 138 for 2007 and the board is 13 Lbs with the bindings but the up side is that its great for teens . i get cramps becase i grow so much so this is a great binding for me easy in and out. its like puting and overly sized shoe on. also if you ride in salt water you have to make sure you wash the meatel pecies of asap they rust but u have a warrnty so they will send u a new pair of cabels. i would not recommend these bindings to a begginer Your better of with entry level bindings. bindings.

My first pair of Hinges were the Torq’s. I ordered these because my feet were just a tad too small for the Torqs. The Factions just feel so much better. They fit like a driving glove. You may want the Torqs if you want a quick release on a fall. I seldom come out of my Factions, and when I do, it hurts my toes a little. Overall, I don’t think I could find a bteer fit and performance for my skill level.

The bindings are sweet, but there is room for improvement. Lower tie string broke on me even before I even touch the water. Easy fix, but still. The strings do get tangled, but minor problem. The sizes run big, I wear a med. but every other brand or binding I wear a lg or even XL. Very snug fit, great heel hold. Easy in if you know what your doing. Great binding for the price.

Great binding. Absolutely snug and the most comfortable i have had on my feet. the seperate laces tend to get tangled but that goes with any binding with dual laces. A+ the articulated toe is awesome. and the all black look is killer. Definately try these out
