2006 Gator Boards Impalla 41
After a long season of testing, we have found the ultimate mix of fiberglass weaves that provide torsional stiffness. The team wanted and the energy and pop generated by longitudinal glass strands. This perfect combination is why GB compression skates are a level above the rest.
Another first for GB. We have come up with a team wakeskate called the Impalla. This baby is compression molded and it is sick. Super light construction makes it easy to wakeskate. The foam on the top feels like grip tape without all the scraped legs. |

alright, so i got the skate the other day and i cant really say anything bad about it, other than the fact that i dont like foam tops.
other than that, its pretty much the perfect composite board. the best part about it was the fact that i didnt notice much of a difference between it and my friends wood impulse that ive been riding, which is actually really good. the tracking of the board is great because of the shape and little channels, it weighs the same and rides the same as a wood board, and it has way more concave than any board ive ridden. basically, its like a wood concave that tracks better without fins and pops real high. also, because of the wideness and the big kicktail, you never have to worry about your foot slipping off.
this board will be ill once i tape it. still, if you like foam, the foam on this board is way better than any other foam board ive ridden, i personally just dont like foam
