2006 Liquid Force PS3 141
Like a proud parent, weve been bragging about the incredibly insane skills that our ripper Phillip Soven possesses. Countless podium placements and years of creating moves that escape our imagination have said it better than we ever could. His competitive technical abilities have finally been captured in the shaping room and put into his official pro model. Finally a board that can keep up with this monster of a rider, the PS3 offers you a 3-stage rocker that pops big enough for a whirly dick yet is fast enough to carry it into the flats. The lifted rail line allows the freak in you to spin with the confidence people will envy. Youll never want to stop. As if that wasnt enough, the twin slots set between the warped molded in fins produce the speed you crave to keep up with an edge that grabs you by the ankles and wont let go. What else did you expect from this punk?

I have only been out twice on this board, but it rocks. I am riding it without the center fins. I like the tracking, the pop, the landings. I am landing my spins more often with this board. The only complaint I have is it is a little slow out of turns or transition, but it is probably just me. I rode a Premier for 2 years and I am really liking the PS3. I think it does everthing better with the exception of turn speed. But when you lay the PS3 on edge and rail into the wake you better be ready for some hang time. This board is awesome for taking your riding to the next level.

Very easy board to ride with or without out fins. Super super soft landings. Very predictable and forgiving. Rounded edges prevent catching an edge during any spin tricks. Awesome.

Wasnt that big of a fan. i have ridden the substance forever and just felt like that was a better board. the pop and edging is there but it didnt land that smooth going out into the flats. Good for some, not for all.

If you like the substance you’ll like the PS3. The board is a bit slower to turn and accelerate than the substance but the pop generated from its wider profile is signaficantly noticable, BIG. This board is sick all around. The edge of the board has a thicker rounded shape which is very comfortable to slam your hand on when you come correct with any tweaked out grab, unlike my absolute platinum, which I love, but has what feels like a razor sharpe edge that has cut me multiple times. I highly recomend you try this board. Liquid Force may just have won me back with this one. Thanks for the demo JB.
