2006 Liquid Force Watson 138
When asked about his flippin sweet new pro-model, Watson excitedly replied, Its the best board Ive ever ridden. Wanting something to complement and accentuate his smooth style, he suggested shocks and pegs. With that in mind the spiral v bottom was shaped and combined with a double concave to break up the impact. Lifted variable edges were also shaped for catch free spins and release. Watson wanted a rocker line that pops and hits you like a sledgehammer so we tweaked the aggressive 3-stage rocker line so you can take it off sweet jumps. With all that excitement, he needed the crisp molded fins to hold his line. We finished it off with our unique QVC tip for even more lift. We complied. Luckyyy!

I did have the year for almost a year and I really loved it but exactly the same that happened to the bindinings happenend with the board: It broke ysterday!!! I am really sad, because I thought that I found the right board. If you never go on sliders and kickers it probably last longer - go and buy it. I will get a Hyperlite now!!!

I love this board.. it really stood out after my first ride on it because i was so impressed with how easy spins were. the board is really light and super easy to control in the air. all around great ride.

best board i’ve ever ridden- my old board was the first premier and the difference is definately noticable. my first time out i could easily tell the difference- it pops harder, its not as loose as the premier but nonetheless easy to break loose, night and day with speed and weight compared to the premier. i have it set up with the watson boots and couldn’t be happier. the only thing i am worried about is the fact that i have broken lf boards before (good warranty but i had to wait half a year)and this board might suffer the same end, especially when i get my rail set up. otherwise i would definately would recommend to anyone with a premier looking for something more aggressive.

This is the easiest to ride of the LF 2006 pro line. It has a ’spine’ along the bottom which pushes the water out the sides on the landings, which really softens the landings when you land out in the flats. It has a subtle three stage rocker that generates GREAT ’pop’ off the wake without the bucking snap of the Shane. Almost no swing weight. It is a fast board, but the PS3 is faster by a little. Very happy with my decision. Slap some 06 Transits on this thing and you’re copying me.

Overall, this board is excellent. Everything the sales rep claimed was true. Pillow soft landings, Off center landings are stuck (it is freakin’ uncanny!), super speedy into the wake, and excellent pop. It also spins much easier than my old Wake Tech Byerly. It took me a little to get used to compared to my ancient Byerly, but once I did, my riding started to improve. This board kicks so much ass and makes me want to ride even more. Definitely worth the extra money over the Substance I was considering.

This board is amazing. Tracks good, has plenty of speed, completely boots you off the wake, and the landings are as soft as they get. Has to be the best board on the market this year.

......wow, this board is sooooo amazing, once you put it on your feet it feels so good, right when you get up it feels like the easiest thing in the world. see, im a hyperlite guy, but after hearing so many good things about this board, i had to look into it. once i rode it i was hooked, its most definatly the most overall best board ive riden, AND I HAVE IT. ive been wakeboarding on this board for over a week straight now and today i didnt get to go. i was very depressed, its almost like crack or something, you have to ride it. go out right now if you dont have one and GET THIS BOARD!!!!!!

Best Board Ever! Coming from a 138 Parks and a 137 PS3, this board blows them both out of the water. Pops as hard as the parks, but more consistent. It’s not as fast ast the PS3, but it is by no means slow on the water. Ride it finless, It’s super controllable, but slide with little to no effort. Softest landings of any board, I’ve been riding with a fractured leg and still didn’t feel it. It’s so light, and it has all the pop and speed you need to land in the flats at 85 feet of line

This board is the best board that I have been on! It pops like my Parks but is looser. I face plant way less with this board. Landing are super soft. I love it! LF keep up the good work!

Similar ride to the new shane but i liked this better, more consistant pop, smoother landings, still loose when you want it but a smooth edge unlike shanes aggressive edge (both are good but a matter of preference), releases a little tail heavy but thats what makes the pop controllable

This Board is amazing, I rode a Subjekt 137, this board is overall a much better preformer than the subjekt, Great board

While it may not be the fastest board, the watson has unbelieveable pop. It is definately the ultimate board for a long line and W2W tricks, but it can easliy be taken out into the flats as well. Great board.

I am 6’2" 160# Went from a trip 143 to this, requires a hard edge into and up the wake, but the pop is up, I am having to relearn my edging technique. but am able to have a much higher/longer hang time when I do it properly. the boat has to go faster compared to the trip. I ride with the fins taken off, with them on, it is locked to the water. too much for me. the downside is that toeside landings are sketchy if you dont land on your toes it slides out easily. with the fins on, it turns and burns on command.

I rode the Premier last year and this board ride pretty similar. More pop and a little more forgiving. This board is very fun and will make you a better rider.

Didn’t think it could get better than the substance but Redmon did it! This deck’s looser, faster, got WAY more pop, it just feels so natural how it reacts to weight changes and laying in a carve. If you transition from snowboarding to wakeboarding this is the obvious choice.

this board is so fast and skatey, and with huge pop its not for the faint hearted.takes a lot of work to keep it under control.my last board was the substance ,LF have done well to improve what i thought the best board out there .treat this board with respect. john UK.

Awesome ride. Very similar to the substance. Accelerates into the wake with greate edge hold. Rides a little higher in the water and therefore faster the substance. Big pop, and nice and skatey finless... best board i have riden.

Really fast board, too fast for my tastes. Once it locks on edge, I felt it easily went off edge. Huge pop, more than my Substance. Most people liked it, just wish it wasn’t as fast.
