2006 Hyperlite Byerly 107
A more traditional, skate style concave kicktail blend. The Byerly comes stock with a lock for a secured lock-in on flip tricks. The magic weight of our high-end skates is around 8lbs. It's where the weight is dispersed that is the big difference. Designed by Scott Byerly. A softer radius near the flashline prevents Scott's deck from getting hung up in the water when a board is most prone too during shuv-it tricks.

Man is this a cool board! I had a LF Impulse last season which fell apart after 2 weeks of hitting sliders daily and this thing is something else. Great release for shuvs, nice weight and crazy grip. I was hooked on wood until I rode this board, but it is just so much more durable and not worse to ride. It is just slightly different to wood on the water. The griptape is harsh in comparison to Liquid Force. Much more grip but worse on the shins. I am so stoked on this board it’s starting to sound like I’m being paid to ride it :-)
Seriously nice board and considering the durability much better value for money than any wood board I’ve ever owned!

Awesome board, much better than the ’05 I snapped. Super grippy, perfect for wake to wake tricks; super high pop off the lip, awesome grip, sticks to feet in air, perfect weight(never blows away in the wind), and more solid and reliable on surface tricks. Better than any other wood or fiberglass I’ve ridden.

It’s durable, it’s got griptape, perfect weight and probably one of the best boards out there. Perfect allround board; liptricks, wake to wake or sliders, this baby can do ’em all.
Just buy it!

This is a great wakeskate for whatever your skill level is, it has awesome stability for doing shove its and kick flips and stuff, the only bad thing about it is the grip tape, ive ridin the old model and i prefer the foam because if you land a trick and your feet are in an awkward position, its hard to move them back into a comfortable position, with the foam it makes is easier to get back into your regular stance. the fowm is also much mroe forgiving for when you fall hard onto the board, your knees dont get torn up really badly...it hurts.
