2005 Nice Scarecrow
The Scarecrow is the binding that fits, supports and performs. Front lace system, full Base-Plate and new overlay toe and heel underlay design that feels so nice.

I actually really liked the bindings when I first bought them but then they tore down the side and screws that hold them in place broke within the first 6 months. I contacted the people at NICE but they did nothing because I had bought them off ebay despite them being new when I bought them.

Good binding, ive been riding in them as my personnal bindings for 2 years now.
At first it took a while to break in, after that they were solid.
The footbed seems to mold to your foot, and they have aton of ankle support.

These are truly great bindings. I was really nervous about the amount of hold these have - I am still learning and tend to wipe out a lot. They have got a super firm support, but they still manage to release when needed - even when done up tight. I was worried that in a big w/o they wouldn’t release - Don’t worry - they do!
My only gripe was that the devious seller (not these guys - some git on ebay) pinched the proper alloy clamps. (I still need these!)Make sure you use the alloy ones and allan bolts - if you use the bolts with the plastic turnscrew that you do up by hand they come undone and the bindings spin. Ideally the footbed could do with several holes, not just one long slot.
Take my advice - spend the $ and buy some decent bindings like these - I bought some good cheap Nice bindings my first season - then had to spend more $ in the second when I wanted more support!

Before buyimg new bindings i tried out many different types. All the Liquid Force ones and the Hyperlites too. I even tried the Nice PRS1’s too. But the comfort and ease of use of the scarecrow make it the best lace up binding i have ever sunk my feet into!!
Lots of the top british riders are using Nice bindings too so they must have something right. Go buy some now!!
