2005 J-Star Lyman 136
Keith Lymans ride continues to be one of our most popular boards and should be due to its responsive and friendly shape for riders of all levels, whether youre a pro or novice.
From doing a nuclear glide to his stylish tweaks off the backside, Keith Lyman is known for his unique style on and off the water. His signature rides keep in tune with this style by providing the responsive, explosive, grippy ride you would expect in a pro model. With long based molded-in fins providing additional stability and a linear step rail to make for a more rail-like, edgy feel, this board rides extremely tight edge to edge. Put that together with Lymans aggressive continuous rocker line and you get a board with strong pop and quick, smooth transitions into the wake. Like all good rides, the end result is fast, smooth and still a little forgiving. With some slight changes to the rail and layup for 05, the Lyman is sure to improve riding ability with its strong tracking, consistent pop off the wake and quick transitions edge to edge. Look at the results riders of this board had just in the past year; 2nd at WWA Nationals, 2nd at the US Masters, 3rd at WWC Cup in Paris, 2-Time APTW Event Winner, and one 3rd place finish, 1st and 2nd place at the Asian X-games. The results speak for themselves. Need we say more?
