2005 Hyperlite State 135
Mike Ferraro and his test team created a new series of boards that you don't have to learn to ride. It's shape allows you to ride in a comfortable position and the design of the board does the work for you. A board that stands up higher on a toeside rail, and sets a harder edge on a heelside rail.

This board rides very differently depending on the setup. I’m an expert snowboarder, so I like this board without the center fin, rides very lose but you can still maintain a hard edge into the wake. With the center fin in, it rides very grippy, so there’s something for everyone in this. The pop is nothing impressive, and its fairly heavy, thats why it gets low marks in my book in spins and inverts. Great board for the money though, if your thinking about buying this to learn on, do it.

this board is not all that it seems..its a great board if your starting out but i rode the 05 parks right after this and you honestly wouldnt believe the difference..softer landings, more pop, easier to do tricks- test it for yourself

The three stage rocker made it really difficult to edge well-i felt like a bad snowboarder. There wasn’t very good tracking at all either.

I never feel the edge of toe-side like this, the pop is great and the landing is so firm especially on toe side, it really can help.

the board in sliders is super for bigginer through pro it doesnt slip out when u land it stays right under you at all times, the landing is smooth, pop is "WOW" i cant really explain, i ride at owc, and theres a ramp called the flat bar, and i count ollie up, but when i tried the state, i could not only ollie up it, i could do it switch, so this board is great and after i tried riding it as a demo in porformace ski and surf, i started saving up all my money.
