2005 Hyperlite Murray 142
After 13 different Hyperlite freeride wakeboard shapes and years working with our design team, Murray knows exactly what he is looking for in speed, edge control, air and release. Hes always been aware of every characteristic in his pro model, which is the reason why Fluid, Belmont, Temet and now Murray wakeboards have been our most universal high-end shapes.

Previous to riding the Murray I had a 2005 Byerly (for the edge hold and board speed). The Murray has not only given me those things but its other characteristics like its explosive pop & its smooth landings have allowed me to take my tricks bigger and actually land them more consistently. This board has also allowed me to become a more fluid rider with things like powerslides and so forth because it allows you to release your edges on demand and ride the board with some "soul" just like Murray himself says. A big thanks to Murray and Hyperlite...this boartd has allowed me to become better all around.

I love this board. I rode an 03’ Byerly, and then an ’05 Parks prior to buying the ’05 Murray board. Shaun Murray personally showed me the board at The Boarding School this past May. Everything he wrote about the board on the Hyperlite web site is exactly how the board performs. His design works well for any level of rider. I watched him perform all his expert moves on the DNA version, yet I’m a beginner/intermediate rider and it allows me to have excellent control, soft landings, great carves, plenty of speed, and easy rotations. I highly recommend this board.

Great board! Sooth, consistent, quick, great pop, tracks well but breaks free when you want. Buy it, you won’t regret it!
