2005 Hyperlite Era 137
For 2005 we redesigned one of our most popular series of all time. The new Era series wakeboard comes with 16 fret rails. These rails are a variation of a step down rail and a flow thru rail. The fret rails do not sit as deep in the water as a step down rail. They are not as grippy as a flow thru rail. A fret rail was designed to be fast out of the hull. The new Era series wakeboard has a lot of the same characteristics as last year's. It is now clearly a quicker board overall. Through a turn and towards the wake. The wakeboard has more exaggerated bottom channels as well. This series has less friction on the water than any other 3-Stage wakeboard.

This is a really great board. When ridden with the fins it locks in pretty well but I prefer the looser feel of riding finless. I learned my first invert on this board and spinning is very easy. Overall this is a fantastic board.

This is really an awesome board. It is really awesome to ride. You cant really use a short rope though, cause it doesnt pick up speed fast enough to wake to wake. It pops pretty good, but i wouldnt recommend it for spins more than a 360. Other than that, it is a really awesome board. Great for a second board or a really confident beginner.

Awsome board. Easy to throw through inverts and soft as landings. With 3D’s a perfect setup.

I really love this board. It spins so easy and lands so soft. It such a smooth board even through chop. I used to ride a parks and that was such a choppy ride but im glad i went with the era. The price tag is super cheap for a board of this quality and versiltility.

slides nicely, great board to ride on those butter days and still rides well finless on wavey days, definately a board to look in to.

I used to do state titles intill i needed a knee reconstruction after landing awkward of a slider and you can sort of picture what happened i think this is the best board you could invest your money in i used to only ride obriens and now im a converted man great board for all levels of wakeboarding hyperlite!! all the way

The board felt a little squirly to me. I don’t know if it’s because I was being towed too fast but the board definately felt more stable at slower speeds. However, the board has amazing pop. I really like the way the board pops off the wake and it definately has really soft landings in the flats. I would recommend this board to someone who is intermediate to expert because of the squirliness of the board. It makes for great wake slides though.
