Youve heard of that old saying Looks can be deceiving? It applies here, they may not look the best but the Vargus is a darn good boot that performs well, especially for the price and for the level it was designed. We have two pairs of these bindings and they are a very well made boot. They are not as pretty as the Noise boots of which we have three different pair but are actually more comfortable. They are easy to get in and out of and they fit well. They are a ladies boot but even some of the guys tried them on and liked them as well. They are way better than the stock boots that came with our first board the Hobie and as I said before actually outperform the nicer looking and more expensive Hyperlite Noise boot. If you are looking for an inexpensive, decent performing binding, then the Vargus satisfies that requirement. We like ’em and we use ’em.

I wasn’t too crazy about these bindings as I couldn’t get them to stay tight enough. They don’t give alot of support either. I wasn’t really crazy about the claw system either. Selling and trading up to liquid force. Good binding for beginners who don’t want to try much but staying up. Would not recommend for jumps.

The minis are the smallest size, but they are too wide for a normal female foot. My foot slides around in the boot, but entry is an ease even without goop. They are relatively comfortable, but I have difficulty getting them tight enough to feel supportive. I prefer a higher back for more ankle support.
