These bindings were very disappointing. They look nice and are easy to get in and out of but offer almost no support, terrible hold, and were very uncomfortable. I have size 12.5 and have the xl’s. No matter how tight i cinch them by foot slides around. It took only a minor wreck to pop my foot out and I felt like a broken ankle was very possible. The footbed was comfy but the binding around my foot and leg weren’t at all. I’m looking to buy a new pair. These will work fine for a family board or something to learn with but not much more than that.

Came with my first setup along with the 2005 motive. Good all round beginner binding, just don’t try a pro binding coz it’ll suck when you have to go back, hense the new pair of 2007 LF Syphnx. Watch out for one foot popping out on bad falls!!!!!!

Not very supportive, three broken ankles (two of my own and one of my friends) and I sold these boots to some poor soul on Ebay. Not bad if your a beginner but I wouldn’t try anything more then surface tricks with them.

I loved the bindings, but went through 2 pairs before exchanging for another type of binding. Cinch cord kept breaking at connection, drove me crazy.

If you get the right size, these bindings hold ya down like a zombie in a grave yard!

I’m just a beginner and I got these because I found them very easy to get into. Before I bought my own board and bindings, I used friends setups and I always had a really hard time getting bindings on and an even harder time getting them off. I would get really frustrated and dreaded the pains of taking boots off in the water. These are really easy to put on and they fit a range of sizes so friends can borrow them and fit easily too. They hold way better than the lower end Spin and Split boots because of the added velcro straps. My foot isn’t totally stable and slips in the heel, so I can see how an advanced rider might not like them. But for an average joe, they are perfect because they come on and off with ease and I never pop out of them when I bail. I see folks popping out of there boots all the time and they are harder to actually put on, so the State is doing something way better than the other entry level boots.

These are awesome bindings...a freind bought these with teh state board, the bindings tended a little unsuportive but they stay on while you ride and fall...the friend i was talkin about was trying is first tantrums they somehow detached from the board...but overall good bindings!

these are good bindings but they seem too loose on my foot. i came from liquid force supersuction and they give some good support but these are loose. over all they are good for beginner-intermediate.

I like these boots for the comfort and they do have good support when jumping but there is alot of entry and exit time with them and its pretty difficult to get them on without soap i have these on the conquest board and overall its a great combination for anyone who is looking to some small and simple tricks

These bindings are pretty good, they are easy to get on with a little soap. im a size 9.5 shoe and got the regulars and onc e in a while theres a little heel slippage and are a little tuff to get out of but overall a really good value for a good adjustable binding.

Overall I really like these bindings, i mean i bought them with the state board!they are great for someone who is just doing some minor jumping and just fooling around! If your gonna be going big then i would say go with something a little nicer!

i bought these bindings with the 05 state board, they seem to be really tight around your toes and are a b*tch to get out of because of all the straps and laces. but they do offer good support right to the top.
