2005 O'Brien Science 138
The Science is Darin Shapiros signature model in our recreational line. The Science is a 6-fin board that holds an edge like no other. It tracks like it is on rails and just locks to the water on landings giving it a super solid feel. With a single to double concave hull, the Science helps this board break the water on landings. It also has a full-length beveled edge for a super smooth ride in rough water. With a continuous rocker and a huge sweet spot this board has insane pop off the wake.

the first time i popped off the wake on the science was the biggest air i’ve ever gotten on a wakeboard, it’s ridiculusly fast and it lands super smooth, it gives me confidence and that’s important for a beginner who want to progress. It looks pretty sweet too!

Its a great board but it seems really heavy and you cant get much pop off the wake.

i rode the 2004 modle for a year and still do today i rode the new 05 modle for a month and found it almost identical to the 04 modle with good pop off the wake and a super smoth ride. and to me this boared is a great overall boared
