2005 O'Brien Device
These bindings are as close as you can get to a one size fits all binding. The Device is a front lace adjustable binding with five lace loops for a higher fit over the ankle and foot. The adjustability comes from the pre-molded tongue piece, which is secured by a layer of neoprene to allow different size feet to fit. The new foot bed and plate design complete the practicality and comfort of this binding.

At first I found these bings fine. They were supportive and comfortable but after using them regularly I found myself getting sore shins. Because the tounge was so hard and stiff every time I was on the frontside edge my entire weight was being supported on the edge of the tounge rather than the whole of the binding. I’ve got rid of these in favour of a binding that has a softer tounge.

These came with my Obrien Diesel that I bought as my teaching board last summer. The bindings held up for all of but two weeks when two of the eyelits ripped out of the rubber like material holding them in place. Add to that, they market these will fit up to a 13/14, and Im a 13.5 and could barely squeeze into them. I’d only recommend these for a beginner whom doesn’t weigh much so there is little stress put on the lace system.

Got these binding for my o’brien suspect 136 and they match perfectly. They feel really comfortable and tighten to your foot size. I fell a few times and they always stay tight on my feet. The best thing about these binding are they will fit my 11.5 foot now and keep fitting up to size 14 woot!

these bindings feel like your standing on a poofy pillow becasue they are so comfy and cushony(aha can’t spell) they are very easy to get into, and only slightly harder to get out of them. the laces allow you to tighten them making them just right for you, and only you. altho i hav not yet gotten the chance to use them, trying them on gave me a very good idea of there "talents". i would say these are a good choice if your ging for comfort and stability.
