2004 Gator Boards Randy Harris 143
Gator Boards and VANDALL teamed up to create the most advanced freeriding board on the market. No gimmicks, no cupped rails, no phasers, no facades, simply effectiveness. Randal,l being the pioneer of molded-fin boards, has been riding this style of board for over five years. The amount of research and development put into this Harris 142 makes it superior to any existing knockoffs and boards in general. The focus of the design is to give you freedom, versatility, and style on the water. The super incumbent molded fin design almost forces you to learn how to edge progressively and optimize edge control to produce a snow/skate style feel. The width of the board gives you optimal pop and the round edges make it forgiving. The lack of a center fin and the inclusion of indestructible molded fins, as well as the flat spot and rounder edges, make the Harris 142 the premier rail conquering board. Do not let the fact that there are no fins to screw in scare you. The reality is that with the length and depth of the molded fins they, create more fin surface than most boards. These molded fins and the channel that they produce makes the board track like railroad ties.

I LOVE THIS BOARD. I RODE THE CWB ZANE LAST YEAR AND SWITCHED TO THIS BOARD THIS YEAR AND I FELL IN LOVE WITH IT. I FOUND THE POP ALOT EASIER THEN THE ZANE. ALSO THE SLIDES ARE WAY EASIER TO DO ON THIS LIGHTER BOARD, I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS BOARD TO ANYONE

Board is kewl. Edges like a dream, semi-loose when needs to be. Landings seem soft so far. Sliders are easy to hit on it, but thats a given with the fin design. Spins good. Need to go 22.5 or 23mph or board feels real slow with lots of drag. Pop is out of control. The pop is real huge, bucking style pop, but you never know how its gonna pop. REAL BIG POP, but very uncontrollable and very inconsistent. In a 23 XTI with all ballast full and wedge down the pop boots you over tower high, but its usually out of control. Dont want to give up on it yet, but it might be bucky for me.

I am 6’6 and started out on the Ricky "G" last year. I bought the Harris over the winter and with its bigger size it proves to be a stable board and has allowed me to improved immensely over the last couple weeks. Great ride!

ur thinking its too be big be a pimp and learn how to ride it. i was riding a 132 subject and i switched to this with ease . this things got tons o pop and speed. truly a board for your $!
