2004 CWB Zeus
The most comfortable high end binding available. Ease of entry into this pro level boot starts with dual Gorilla Grips, and is made even easier with a dual lace system. The upper lace supports the top of your ankle securing your ankle in place. The lower lace locks down you foot giving you maximum board control. The HLS (heel lock system) is an adjustable tension strap that keeps your heel back and down. A super thick tri-density footpad, firm at the base and progressively softer, keeps your foot solid for comfort and performance.

They are most likely the greatest binding ever produced except for large footed people. I have size 13 feet and the only problems that I had were getting in and out of them even with lube.

if you buy the right size bindings and adjust the heel retention over lay right... then you should have no problems riding these bad boys. i gave it all 5’s because the ratings should be after you have broke them in. i would change the "hold" value to like a 4 if you ride without the heel retention overlay (which i find you can tweek stuff out way better without it). ---In the break in period--- it takes about a month or tow of riding and i mean 2-3 times a week of riding to break these in. usually the toes will be super tight and the heel strap when breaking in... so dont sweat it, shove some beer bottles in them toes to loosen them up! and loosen up the heel strap before you even ride.
hope this helps.

These Bindings are ok for the first couple of passes, but then they begin to hurt my feet. Another complaint is that they are very tight on my ankles and loose on my toes. And are hard as hell to get off.

These bingings are really comfortable until you ride them. They hurt my feet so bad after 5 minutes i could ride anymore. I had to take them back and get a totally different pair of bindings. I would suggest getting a different pair. I never had this problem with any of my hyperlite bindings. Just thought i would let others know before they spent their money on them and was disappointed like i was

These were the best bindings I have ridden, untill I tried the Nice PRS1. The CWB bindings feels much looser, and its allmost impossible to get in/out without soap, at least for my feet ;) The footbed owns, the rest is ok...

I really like CWB’s bindings, I was riding the Vibe’s and they were sweet. Then i got on these and realized that CWB had stepped it up even more. They have great support, which I need after breaking my ankle a few years ago. They wrap really high and don’t have a ton of flexibility but you can still bone out your grabs. The footbed on these is unrivaled and have tons of arch support. The heel rubber is sweet with the kidney pads that cradles your achilles. The two laces is great, I always start with them cinched down really tight and loosen them as I ride so the top of my foot doesn’t get cramped, so easy and so very effective. try them you’ll love them guaranteed.

Absolutely incredible. The most support and the best control of any boot I have tried, while at the same time really easy to get in and out of. It took only 2 days before they felt like they were completely broken in. No numb feet for weeks on end. great adjustability and really beefy. They look and feel as if they will last a lifetime. I have them on a 2004 absolute 141 platinum. I wouldn’t trade this setup for any other set of equipment out there. CWB definately got it right.

I came from riding in ’03 Belmonts. The belmonts were giving out on the sides and hurt the side of my feet when I would land. I tried several bindings and fell in love with the Zeus’! They have awesome support! The dual lace binding system really keep my heel back and down. At first I wasn;t sure about them because unlike my belmonts, you can over tighten these bindings! In my belmonts I was always just puling the string as tight as I could and then pulling the cross strap as hard as I could but coule never get them too tight. the zeus is so well designed to really wrap your foot/ankle that you can esaily over tighten them. But that is the only downfall!
