awesome boot. they are very comfy and really support your foot. they are super easy to get into if you have binding slime. if you fall hard they let your foot out like nothing which i sometimes find very nice, especially when you fall super hard. the boa system is nice but it takes a while to get the done up. the only thing i did not like about these boots was that they are super tough to get your foot out of, but i think that that happened to me just because i think my foot was a little too big for the boot.

I have had these bindings for 2 years. They are easy to get into but the boa system does take a while to tighten up. I have had 1 problem when the wire ripped out of the back but hyperlite fixed it. i have a narrow size 10-10.5 and the medium fits like a glove.

I love these bindings, I got them SLIGHTLY used, only a handful of times, and there so comfy and easy to get in and out of. I had Liquid Force Evos before and this is a big step up.

I dont know how anyone could hate these bindings! Most comfortable ones i’ve ever owned. The support is great accepting the fact that they hold awesome but let you out on hard falls.
Reviewer: Chris Ballard
Most comfortable bindings I have ever worn.
Reviewer: cole k
No problems yet although they are a little loose

I see all these other reviews, not many good things said about the Byerly. I don’t have a prob. with them yet, been riding on them for a year, I love them!

these boots are definally reliable. but the strap has broke on me more than once. for the overal compfort its a great binding. they just need to work on the strap

When u buy the byerly bindings ur basicly justbuying the name. Sure they look pretty cool too i guess, there comfortable and their easy enough to get in and out of; but the boa system sucks. u can never tell if there tite enough untill ur actually up and riding, ur constantly turning that little circle thiing which gets hold pretty fast and half the time it messes up and will losen on landings or even just agressive carving... i honestly wouldnt recomend these bindings for neone unless they were just out to cruz on the water... even then i hesitate...

I thought I liked these bindings the first couple times that i rode them but in about 2 months the bindings have ripped down the back and one of the boa system wires have snapped (mind you I dont ride ALOT). The boa system takes forveer to crank down and if you go too far then it pops out. After reading these other reviews I think I’m gonna take these back and get the Parks.

These bindings absolutely suck. It seems to me that all hyperlite was focused on was a comfortable binding easy to get in and out of it had no support and hold and when i tightend the boq lacing system it would just unlock once it was getting kind of tight. One time I went up for a big method and the front binding unlocked on the landing... I hate these bindings only good for people who leisure ride.

I am a Hyperlite fan through and through, but these bindings suck. They don’t lock your foot down like they should and the overlay puts preasure on the top bend of your foot. The boa system takes a while to crank down and the knob broke the first day I used them. I will stick to the PARKS - they give way more support and hold!!
Reviewer: Bill Rehm
These bindings by far are the easiest to get into and out of. Adjusting the boots on the fly is effortless. They look good too and impress all those who see them.
Reviewer: James Bolter
The bindings are great on your foot, i get no soreness there, but the backs on the boots are a little high and really rub against ur calves, i go for about 30 mins 2-3 times a day when im out so it probably wont matter if u dont go as long, but it happens to me

Im reviewing this binding again becuse i spelled ankle wrong the first time and diddnt wanna make and ass of myself
But on another note i tried on every one of hyperlites bindings and these had the most support by far and im my opinion look the coolest

Everything is really good
They fell good and have good support around the ancles
Iv heard the BOA system breaks but it hasent on me and who cares can you say "hyperlite gives lifetime warrenties on everything".Go buy em

I’VE RODE AND TRIED MANY DIFFERENT BINDINGS. THE 2004 BYERLY FINALLY CAME MY WAY... THE FIT IS JUST PERFECT. THEY DON’T FEEL TO TIGHT BUT HOLD LIKE CRAZY. THEY DON’T HAVE ONE SINGLE PRESSURE POINT EVEN IN COLD WATER. THEY ARE BY FAR THE EASIEST TO GET IN AND OUT OF. THE FOOTBEDS COULD ABSORB A 10 STORY HIGH FALL... PLUS IF THAT WASEN’T ENOUGH, THEY ARE THE NICEST AND COOLEST LOOKING BINDINGS ON THE MARKET. ALL MY RESPECT TO HYPERLITE AND SCOTT HIMSELF FOR MAKING SUCH GOOD BINDINGS.

I broke loose a cable on my first time out and injured myself in the process (slight sprained ankle.) After securing the cables and healing, I finally got back out a few weeks later...
These bindings are bad-ass, they are extremely supportive around the ankle and provide great cushion on landings. I have owned eight sets of bindings and so far these are the best.

first time i used them , they broke. This could be the best binding if they figure out how to make the boa system not break, now I have to wait till they get fixed and that sucks!!!

It’s four years I ride with Byerly boots and they improve every time...
If you are looking for a strong hold and a close control on your board, choose them !!!
They are a little bit stiff, but I rode them only with cold water... maybe during the summer they will be the best.
Finally, I think they still are the best rider’s choice to rule the lake !!!

This is the best binding in the world. The BOA systems makes getting in so easy, even with out any slime. Getting out is also a breeze. I love this binding, i have tried many different bindings but when i was riding i would always get and cramp and have to stop riding. with these i can get keep riding until my legs and arms are tired not a cramp in my foot. GO OUT AND BUY THEM!!! THEY ARE THE BEST

Amazing Binding. Rode for the first time this weekend. The Boa System is amazing. It adjusts to the shape of your foot. Getting in is very easy with a little soap. Getting out was a little bit harder. The only thing i noticed was i got a little cramping on my toe but went away after a while. I was the only one to notice this tho....Maybe my deformed foot. Definantly a good buy i bought them from a great website (http://www.bellinghamboardsports.com/) They gave them to me for $300. Buy now!

I just got back from the Chicago Boat Show. It was insane Eric Ruck and Danny Harf were chillin out at Chicago SEA RAY booth(and i needed some new bindings)they helped me decide on the 2004 byerly boots and they couldnt be more perferct. The heel cup along with the ankle support throws down some wicked "ballance security" on any board!!! They tighten up really nice and they are esy to get out of. Harf rides the bindings and now i know why he does...THEY ROCK. If there was ever something wrong with the BOA system who cares.....IT HAS A LIFETIME WARRENTE!!!! u cant beat it. So even if u cant fix it send ’em in and Hyperlite fixes them for u! BOTTOM LINE......2004 Byerly Bindings KICK A$$

These bindings are sweet, you will love them untill they break. The BOA system is awsome untill it breaks, Mine Broke off a bad landing on a tantrum. But they are still sick bindings. I would still recomend them any day of the week!
Reviewer: jack aldrich
first i had 3060’s and they rock, my friend has parks but they are not flexible at all,but the byerlys are bada** they are flexible and soft these bindings with a parks board is the best setup!
Reviewer: Hollywood Burke
These are the best bindings I have ever ridden! The BOA system is sweet! The tension is evenly displaced throughout your ankles, so no painful digging while you ride. I have yet to have any mechanical problems with the BOA (fingers crossed). Pair these with a Parks board and you will have the sweetest setup on the lake!
Reviewer: Zack B
These bindings are sick...While they last! The BOA system always skrews up and everytime you come out of them you have to sit there and spin the knob.If you want some all around awsome bindings get the Liquid Force Ultra Suctions.

easy to get in and out of. But dosent feel solid while ridding. Your ankle seems to slip and not be solid when jumping
