The Motive series combines the mellower feel of the Universal series and the rail response from the original, outer molded-in fin design. Rail ride edge hold mixed with the beginning of freeride dominance. Hyperlite's building block for the Personality line boards.

Desigined by Shaun Murray several years ago for a smooth, consistent, but still relatively fast rocker line. High-end shredders love the edge hold while recreational riders prefer the steadiness in shifting water conditions. Comes complete with two 1.7" Maruca fins and four 0.4" deep molded-in fins covering all of the points through a turn, edge hold and release off the wake. Riders can also attach a smaller center fin and have a faster rail ride shape with a quick release off the wake.

2.6" Continuous Rocker - An easy transition up the wake all the time

"V" Bottom Full-Length Tunnel - Aids in tracking and helps break up the water on landings

Two 1.7" Maruca Center Fins - For riders that prefer a tighter feel on the water with a slightly stronger edge hold up the wake

Four 0.4" Deep Molded-in Fins - These outer fins act as a stabilizer for beginners and a gas pedal for advanced riders

4.75" Center Fin Placement - Improves the floatier feel with the center fin moved in further

Total Versatility - A board shape that covers a broad spectrum of abilities

All-around, universally solid board. I first learned on this board and have successfully introduced many friends on it. Even though I’m too small for this board, it still responds quite well while also stable enough for my boyfriend and other bigger riders. Not suitable for advanced riders looking for more pop.

Just started this summer, and was learning on a CWB Freedom. Was certainly picking up, but having a hard time getting over the hump with jumping wake to wake. Then I got this board... Nailed it on my first try. Not to mention butter slides now feel intuitive and I feel like I have total control. Fantastically stable board, and really excels stability for surface tricks. Perfect for naturally athletic and capable beginners.

I’m not super fond of the board. bought it as my first board, but im REALLY glad i just got a new double up. heavy in the air, slow response time. EASY to get up on though if you’re havin trouble with that

Great board for the intermediate rider. Havent gotten to inverts yet but this board could sure take u there. Great stablility and control while edging and landing! Awesome
