2004 Hyperlite TFD 136 DNA
A lively ride with a fast rocker line and deep angled fins puts time on your side. The quick edge transfers and a stable overall feel work well for different abilities, water conditions and riding styles. The TFD series is becoming one of our most universal shapes.
Chad Sharpe has always pushed his boards to the limit and wanted a board that will return just as hard, whether it is on rails or off the double up. Last year he redesigned this edgy style with a new carver using angled fins - Born was the techest deck of them all.
The TFD series has as much response as the rider can initiate. Similar to the Parks series, we added 6-degree angled fins for the mellow initiation of a turn that finishes hard all the way up the wake. The TFD also started a new style of rocker line. Without sacrificing speed, we put a subtle kink in the tip/tail. This curve is faster than any Hyperlite 3-stage board up the wake and has more snap than other styles of continuous arced boards.2.7" Abrupt Continuous Rocker - The speed you would expect along with a slightly higher explosivenessStep Down Rail - A moderate rail makes the board sit slightly lower on the waterWide Tip/Tail Profile - Rolls over smooth, stands up higher over the wake for a greater kickDeep Center Beam - Helps push out water on landings for super soft landings, even for riders that land more centeredFour 1.1" A-Wing Machined Aluminum Fins - Designed for a quick reaction time and a strong overall edge hold6-Degree Angled Fins - Creates a smooth turn with a stronger bite once on rail

I found this board to be amazing, it is so consistant. i worked at KLSS (Kawartha Lakes Ski School)this season and had use of a wide range of sponsored hyperlite equipment. this board gave the best response while holding its edge allowing for stronger cuts. we had a large number of clients (1st timers to advanced riders) use this model and the comments were great.
this board along with the temmet binding is an amazing setup and works for all riding abilities.
best board ive ever riden

i only rode this board for half an hour straight at a wakeboard school, my info might be a little sketchy
for a 4-fin board this one was suprising ly easy to ride. it wasmuch easier to ride than my LF Helix.
The tracking was excellent on edge, you get perfct controll.
however i thought that ittracked too much when i wanted to initiate a turn. I prefer the loosness of my Helix.
pop is absoolutely amazing and easy to get, my tantrums and frontrolls were very easy to do.
it spins well but compared to my Helix its a bit heavier.
The landings were unbelievably soft because of the little kink it has on the base, super soft landings even in rough water. Much better than the Helix due to the fact that the Helix has a flat bottom.
Chad Sharpe is the best rider ever!!!!!!!
his step up gap at wakestock last year was amazing.
strongly recomend this board, for anyone who wants to go huge!!!!!

This board is an all around good board. it is a little big which makes it a bit harder to spin and go inverted with, yet it has a really firm landing which is great for people who are just trying to do new inverted/spinning tricks. It has great pop off the water when you are trying to get to a rail. The board speed, tracking and sliders a very good performance wise. They are really responcive on the water. This is a overall good board for Intermediate - Advanced riders, for those who want to improve greatly for the beginner stage i would reccommend gettin ghtis board or one like it because it is a very esay board to ride.

Cant think of a better board on the market, just as quick as the parks with a more consistant pop, easy to spin, all around great board. Looks sick with the new orange high backs!!!
