2004 Hyperlite TFD 136
A lively ride with a fast rocker line and deep angled fins puts time on your side. The quick edge transfers and a stable overall feel work well for different abilities, water conditions and riding styles. The TFD series is becoming one of our most universal shapes.
Chad Sharpe has always pushed his boards to the limit and wanted a board that will return just as hard, whether it is on rails or off the double up. Last year he redesigned this edgy style with a new carver using angled fins - Born was the techest deck of them all. The TFD series has as much response as the rider can initiate. Similar to the Parks series, we added 6-degree angled fins for the mellow initiation of a turn that finishes hard all the way up the wake. The TFD also started a new style of rocker line. Without sacrificing speed, we put a subtle kink in the tip/tail. This curve is faster than any Hyperlite 3-stage board up the wake and has more snap than other styles of continuous arced boards. |

Absolutley by far the best board i have ever ridden, just awesome. The only downfall is that it is hard to balance on sliders with it in the beginning, but you get used to it. Its just awesome, and i would recommend it to anyone!

Perfect amount of speed and tracking to give you a solid ride without losing your edge. What I really love about this board is how soft the landings are. I couldn’t find another like it.

I just baught this board last summer. it is really nice and it tracks smoothly across the water. The edge grabs nice and holds strong. Im riding it with 2002 Byerly bindings. the only down fall to it is it isnt a 3 stage rocker but everything else makes up for that.

this board is the gnarliest thing around. nothing else compares. so if you can find it at a store get it damnit its the best.

amazing!! i have this board and 04 parks bindings.. it is soooo amazing!! riding invert is sooo easy.. pop is interesting along with most of the boards on the personality line..but hey. you gut uesd to it :). i upgraded to this combo from a motive and vario combo.. and wow... i cann’t beleive i even baught them after riding this board.. i have ridden a 04 parks DNA and temet boots.. and i like this 10x better!!!

This Board is sooooo awsome!!! Landings are like landing on a pillow. Sweet pop, edge hold like no other!! Get it!!

This board is super quick...even moreso than the Premier - but this turns differently...more on the fins, since thee are no molded fins/cupped rails. It does feel heavier, which makes spinning smoother, but a little more difficult. Same as for flips. The deep V on the bottom makes it land very soft but causes it to ’rock’ toeside/heelside when trying to boardslide. The pop is different, but definitely there. Overall I think this is one of the better boards out there without the extreme rocker lines. It is quicker than any other board and that makes up for pop that goes big once you get used to it.

this board can amazingly take a lot of punishment from obstacles... it edges really well too, but is kind of on the heavy side, making inverts and spins a bit more difficult... the pop is also kinda weak, but it makes up for it with distance... excellent for both cable riding and the boat

this board mashes... I wouldnt reccomend anything but this, hits the wake so... nice and lands clean, butters are easy to pull, no better board out therem than this.
