2004 Hyperlite Premier 141 DNA
When Danny Harf was asked what he wanted to do with his new shape, the answer was more aggressive and explosive. A series designed for the next generation of wakeboarding is the connection between different riding styles and rocker lines for the water's ups and downs.
Back in 2001, we shaped a board that combined the explosiveness and rail-ride style of Byerly's line with the freeride fell of Murray's - Born was the Premier. After winning X Games back-to-back year and understanding characteristic of his deck, for 2004 he decided to make some changes.
Danny made his new ride 1.25" wider in the tip/tail for the extra snap off the kicker without sacrificing edge-to-edge response. The Premier now has deeper molded-in fins that are 3" longer. As we went to a wider profile, the new, bigger fins maintain the Premier-style edge into the wake with moderately fast speed. We removed the full-length tunnel in the bottom of this new board for quicker release and more control on rails.2.7" Subtle three-stage rocker - A division between both rocker lines combining speed and an abrubt boot off the wake.Deep, step-down rail helps the board hook up harder through the water. Wide tip/tail profile rolls over smooth and stands up higher over the wake for a greater kick. Cupped rails give a slightly more responsive grip into the rail-ride turn. Two 0.8" P-Wing machined aluminum fins designed for a quicker overall release and a moderate feel on the water. Four 1.0" deep molded-in fins similar to the Byerly fins for a style of riding that relies more on the outer rail. Vented channels create a faster feel on the water.

sweet board, the jib base is sticky and slow, no wonder they nolonger produce it pops great with the stance width maxed. I put 1.2" fins on beacuse i`m not down with the crazy carpet trend thats so popular now. the dna is slightly lighter and has much more flex and I like that. overall I am very pleased with this deck.

I tried a lot of boards until I bought this one. This one rides deeper in the water and gives me a very stable feeling, not real loose. Pops big, lands smooth. My third board, others were OB Evil Twin and Cobe.

Hands down the best board I have been on. I use to be a board addict buying and trying boards to find the perfect one. After I got this Premier DNA, I believe that will now stop. The 1.0 molded fins allow you to edge fast into the wake whether your 10 feet or 5 feet when I say go, it goes. I’m in love and in heaven. Being a DNA, its obviously light and the swing weight is low. Spins beautifully. Pops like a dream. Nice and abrupt. Tracks nicely but not tight. Loose when flat. I pulled it out of the box for the first time and the graphics didn’t impress me. The moment I stuck the board in the water, the neon really stood out positively. I was shocked. The ugly board was the most gorgeous thing I saw once it was in the water. I’m so happy my board buying addiction is now over! I like this board better than, Parks, absolute platinum, prodigy platinum, gator Gonzalez, gator savage, LF substance UC, Helix, and a couple more CWB/LF boards that I have ridden.

This board really does it all pretty well; quick and tight while on edge, but breaks loose easily for spins and tricks, even with the center .8" fin in. The subtle 3-stage rocker has plenty of pop, and the landings are solid wake to wake or out in the flats. The DNA construction makes the board light, but it still feels substantial enough for my 200lb. body. I was recommended to this board, and in turn, would also recommend it to others; you will love this board. I can tell that I will advance my skills on this board and ride it for a few more years!
