2004 Hyperlite Premier 136
When Danny Harf was asked what he wanted to do with his new shape, the answer was more aggressive and explosive. A series designed for the next generation of wakeboarding is the connection between different riding styles and rocker lines for the water's ups and downs.
Back in 2001, we shaped a board that combined the explosiveness and rail-ride style of Byerly's line with the freeride fell of Murray's - Born was the Premier. After winning X Games back-to-back year and understanding characteristic of his deck, for 2004 he decided to make some changes. Danny made his new ride 1.25" wider in the tip/tail for the extra snap off the kicker without sacrificing edge-to-edge response. The Premier now has deeper molded-in fins that are 3" longer. As we went to a wider profile, the new, bigger fins maintain the Premier-style edge into the wake with moderately fast speed. We removed the full-length tunnel in the bottom of this new board for quicker release and more control on rails. |

I love this board. I had to give it a lower mark for speed because it’s not really that fast, but I don’t like my boards too fast anyways. This board helped me stomp my first invert along with a couple of 3’s. It’s taken my riding to a different level. The tracking is great (I ride finless), the pop is clean a easy to hit. I hope i continue to progress on this board as I feel really comfortable on it.

I demoed a couple of boards out at the local lake, and i thought none of them rode as well overall as the byerly 136. The pops off the wake and the landings that you can get are unbelievable. This board responds to your every movement...great board

This board is awesome. It progressed my riding a ton. Now my air is getting bigger and my style is becoming a lot more smooth. Love this board a lot.

This board is sweet. It is soo smooth and tracks like none other. I have tried the Parks and the Byerly and they are and both have their positives and negitaves but overall I think this is the best board on the market. The only thing that I don’t like about the board is it is a little heavy which make spins a little harder but overall a great board.

I’m an intermediate rider and love to do all kinds of surface and spin tricks. I used to practise on a CWB Absolute 140 which is way too big for me. So I decided to get this board. The very first ride with the Premier, I knew this was my board. All my tricks were at least 1 sec faster than before. Control was excellent and edging was a natural as walking. I’ve installed the aluminium fin also and my surface tricks were stil as smooth as ever. I love this board.

Overall this is a nice board.It doesnt let loose on you when you cut out.It also has quite a bit of pop. Landed my first spin and invert on this board

This is the best Hyperlite board ever! I tried a new Parks, Byerly, & Premier.
The Premier is the best all around board by far. (The Parks was second place.)
It turns easier & pops better than my 02 Premier or my wifes 02 Byerly, which are a little more user friendly. It rides much faster than previous models. It is great with the new Parks bindings!

this board hucks you like a motha...its got more pop than most people know what to do with...this board to me is a wonderful ride. Double ups on this thing are crazy high and landing out in the flats from a heelside front dont kill you either...i really like how fast this board is on my heel edge but it seemed to not go as hard toe and it digged in as well but the pop made up for the speed giving me enough to get my trick done...definitly not a board for a beginner...finless is were its at fellas...you gotta have your rail riding down for this board

I just started wakeboarding alot at the begining of the summer I bought a Hyperlite movemnet with spin bindings(ok but not so good) I then decided i needed a better board and bindings so i looked and asked around and The hyperlite Premier was my trip. OS i ordered it adn it came i love it so much. I just landed a heelside 360 on it and it was like a knife through butter EASy it hjas so much pop and sooooo nic eon landings in my opinion everyone should have this board. (rip it up do a flip)....

The first day i got this board i rode it..LOVED IT. Awesome board. i went from a hyperlite divine to this one..It threw me up so big and allowed me to slow my spins down making them have more style. This boared is perfect for me. YOu should buy it and love it too

Just started seroiusly wakeboarding about a month ago. I have this board, and I’m already accelerating fast. From what I hear it’s an excellent board for advanced riders, but it’s also great for beginning. This is THE board.

This board owns, very easy to spin and flip. Not to tight or loose on the water. Accelerates like a BMW. The premier owns all.

i love this board is not to mellow not to fast the one thing i dont like about it is that when you cut to the wake real hard to fins seem to release i bet its real good on sliders but the damn people wont let us but some the lake because of law suits..ride on

Awesome board! Rides very smooth and has huge pop. Only problem is that it might be slightly small for me and that’s why I have trouble with the landings. I weigh about 160-165 so if you weigh around that you might want to try it out and see if you like it. But dont get me wrong, this board rocks!

this board is sick it has so much pop and is heaps soft on landings the jib makes it feel a bit slow but after a few rides you get used to it
