Awesome bindings once you get the suckers on. Really comfortable in the footbed and ankles and your feet don’t slide around in them at all. The time it takes to break them in is totally worth it, just make sure you’ve got buckets full of lube for the first couple weeks.

These bindings suck dont get them, they killed my feet trying to get in, and when i got in the werent all that comfy, and trying to get out, be preparded to have bottle of lube and 3 guys pulling hard.

These are good bindings..if you can get ino them. It took me over 20 minutes. They are very tight and give good suppot once you get in.

Sweet Bindings. just becuase they are 2003s, doesn’t mean they are old and useless. The footbed is SWEET. Most comfortable there is. AWesome Bindings!

Insane to get into the first time..... After putting a big bottle of water into the bindings for a week, the entry / release became slightly easier....Tip: Buy a large bottle of "SLIME"!!!!

these bindings are so nice. the footbeds are like clouds. they look almost as cool as they feel too. They are a little tuff to get into, but a little lube will do you right. they are expencive, but u can do it ebay. i would buy these if i were u.

to ghet it out is problem en some things ghet loose screw are to smal the binding ghet off the board

As you can see from the rest of the reviewers, you either hate em or u love em. Ions are securely fitted once you are in. They provide one of the best support for my ankles amongst the many bindings I’ve tried. They are built for a tight fit. If you want something loose, go back to the wake sandals. Only complain I have is it is a nitemare to get out off. Tore the insides of the form twice getting out of them.

A real pain to get in during the break-in period but once you’ve broken them in they give great support and comfort. The dual lace system gives a great customized fit.

one day i try theses bindings i buy them on overtons they look very beautiful but it took me 30 minuts to put with whole bottle of shampoo then i can never take out it kill all my blood circulation now i had to have them surgically removed but i walk around with ion stuck to my feet for 3 day(thats no good) i am best singapore rider telling everyone that ion no good, you no buy,

These bindings are sweet. At first they are tough to get out of, but after 3 rides, they loosened up enough. They are cool cause when you are in the water you can adjust them if you get cramps in your feet and then tightem up again as you please.

These are hard to get in to and out of but once on the effort is rewarded with amazing comfort. I always found bindings cut in to my ankles a bit but no probs here. Thick footbed is great shock absorber too. My only gripes are that the screws are a bit short (I pulled one out of the board 3rd time in the water) and I’ve got little feet but I had to buy XL to get a wide fit. Why don’t manufacturers make bindings for wide feet?

i just bought these bindings like 2 weeks ago and i have only ridden them like 6 times but they definately improved my riding. They are a biznitch to get on and off but they are definately the best bindings of 2003.

When i first got these bindings, it took me 15 min to get them on, i had to finally lube my foot up and struggle getting them on. Once i finally got them on they were comfortable,after 5 min they began to hurt pretty bad I lossened the rubber raps on them which helped a little bit.
They look awesome and were pretty cheap but were to hard to get into and to hard to get out of, they did have good support for the 15 min i rode in them at a time. I dont recomend these and all those guys that said they were comfortable must have a diffrent bindings.

These are really comfortable bindings.
I came from a pare of Super Suctions.
which I couldn’t ride longer than ten
min at a time because they killed my
feet, and they tore. Ion’s are expensive
but I got them because they are onsale
at Overtons.com for $199.00!!!!

Love theese! Got the XL, CAUSE O’BRIEN’s SIZINGCHART IS F***ED UP! Easy entrance, and supersmooth footbed. Soft on your toes, and a bit stiffer and more supportive on your heel. Tightening them is a joy, with laces:-) Prefer this system rather than buckles, or even the Hyperlite BOA system. What is important is the time spending tightening your bindings/ride ratio. Super comfy, holds good. NO PRESSUREPOINTS. Love these, expensive though.

It is a bitch to get on and off but when they are on they feel sweet!!! the support they give you is great and even better when you hit the wake and land on the soft padding all around the binding!!! get them they are great! expensive but great!!!!!

The bindings push the lower leg into a real upright stance, forcing you to cut that bit more aggressively. The twin lace sets on each boot lock your foot onto a supersoft comfy contoured pad. They’re hard to get in and don’t release easily. Once they’re on they look and feel awesome.

PROBLY THE BEST BINDING OUT RIGHT NOW, IT HOLDS YOU DOWN TO THE FOOTBED AND IS FULLY ADJUSTABLE SO YOUR NOT RESTRICTED ON MOVMENT. IF YOU GET A CHANCE TRY THEM ON AT YOUR LOCAL SHOP!!
