2003 Hyperlite Motive 140
A few years ago Shaun Murray designed this series. That year Mr. Belmont won several events including the coveted Wakeboard Worlds. The Motive Series was created for riders looking for the extra stability and carving that comes from molded-in fins, combined with the relaxed feel of Shaun's trademark freeride boards. High-end riders seek the edge hold, while recreational level riders feel comfortable because of the aided traction.
A line of boards based on all around performance. Advanced riders can attach a shallow center fin and ride it more like a rail ride shape relying more on the outer profile with a quick release off the wake. The 1.7" Maruca fins that come with this board offer a universal ride for varying water conditions and recreational steadiness. |

this is a great beginner/intermediate board with nice landings and forgiving but you can still pull of the sweet tricks.

if ur looking for a board with HUGE POP, WONDERFUL SPEED, GREAT HANDLING, AWSOME SPINS, your looking in the wrong place. this board is not a bad board dont get me wrong but its all for beginers its easy geting up and crossing the wake. its to big and bulcky to carve and the price is way to much. dont get me wrong i can do 180s, 360s, surface 180 and butter cup slides but its way easyer on any other board

This board rocks. It’s my first own board and i’ve ridden a lot of my friends boards. Good speed and breaks the water nicely on landings. I’m 6’3 and 215lbs and it supports me nicely!

Dunno what the spinning and invert thing is about cause once your in the air the board doesn’t have too much to do with that. The landing on this board is a little sketchy without a fin, but for me the stock one is too grippy, so im gonna go out and buy some .7’s...iv never ridden a 3 stage so i wouldnt know what to compare the pop to, i wanna demo the parks but im afraid i might like it too much, hehe. but this board is great for what i do and iv had the best runs of my life on this one, check it out.

It was my first wakeboard and it improved my boarding so much. The landings are so easy and the pop is phenomenal.

Picked up this board for much less than most of my friends boards (I payed 250, they all paid near 500+) and it rides GREAT. i like the medium center fin, small molded outer fin setup - it gives you good tracking and response, never slips out, its pretty fast, and it is still easy to get the board out of the water when you want it to. rides smooooth always. this board is an excellent deal compared to more expensive boards (parks, byerly etc.) and rides so nicely.
