2003 Hyperlite Motive 134
A few years ago Shaun Murray designed this series. That year Mr. Belmont won several events including the coveted Wakeboard Worlds. The Motive Series was created for riders looking for the extra stability and carving that comes from molded-in fins, combined with the relaxed feel of Shaun's trademark freeride boards. High-end riders seek the edge hold, while recreational level riders feel comfortable because of the aided traction.
A line of boards based on all around performance. Advanced riders can attach a shallow center fin and ride it more like a rail ride shape relying more on the outer profile with a quick release off the wake. The 1.7" Maruca fins that come with this board offer a universal ride for varying water conditions and recreational steadiness. |

Great board. Awesome for everything except pop. I have split boots 2003 with this board and they are awesome together.

Its a great board.... I have started wakeboarding with it and now I can do a bunch of flips and spins but there is a small downside.... I t seems not to havea lot of pop in it so you travel through the air with the tail lower than the nose.... overall the board is great and I highly recomended itg to beginers through whenever!

This is a pro board at intermediate pricing. Control is phenominal even with smaller fins (I use either 1.2 or 1.5 depending on water condition) and this board easly pops of the wake. A great board at an even better price.

I ride it with 1.2 fins and really love it. It is the same as the old belmont so it is supposed to be really good. Very nice pop and still has enough grip with the 1.2 fins. This is a pro board that is cheap.

I rode my brothers board and I thought it was very unstable. Wene I came in to hit the wake the tail would come out from under me and I would fall. It is a great beginner board.

this is my first board and i love it!! i admit i havent tried any other boards to compare it to, but every thing i’v tried on it, it does. its very forgiving and VERY stable. wakeboarding is an awsome sport and the hyperlite motive is a sweet board to do it on

I actually have a ’00 Belmont 134, but it’s the same thing. This board is great! I’ve rode several different boards including a Byerly finless and O’brien Suspect...the Motive is still my favorite board. Definately like it better with 1.25" or smaller fins. The stock fins are too grippy. Great all around!!!

This board is AWESOME!! great for going big yet easy on the spins and inverts. Tracks well when pushed really hard. Recommend this board for hard core wakeboarder.

The motive is a great all rounder. Good consistent pop and a good size for my spins and inverts. it sticks on landings and is soft on the knees. A good board for the beginner or for someone learning their first spins and inverts.
