2003 Hyperlite Premier 140 DNA
My board has to be able to hold true all the way up the wake, and give me the right pop and release I need. The Premier does everything well. It's a combination of some different boards for jibbing, spinning, going inverted and just getting booted. I like a board that's not too edgy or too mellow - a smooth pop that still has meat off the double ups. My board is for riders that want to do a wake jump crail grab into the flats, to a nose grind on a flat bar and a heelside cab 900 off the double up, or at least try to.
This year I just wanted my graphics raw. I worked with Hyperlite making sure I got all of my favorites in there. Put the hammer down, Created for skate influenced riders looking for a universal ride on the water or PVC. A link between the snap of a three-stage with the feel of a continuous rocker. Created for young riders that like the most explosive pop and a moderate overall feel. Not too edgy - not too mellow. The way this series hooks on rails or releases off the wake might make it the "premier" board. |

in 08/09, I’m getting back to the core...wood core that is. This board is better than some of the 07 and 08 boards that I’ve tried. It is lighter, faster, and sticks landings better than anything I’ve ever ridden. Combine this board with some ’08 Ronix Reliks, and you have a sweet set-up that looks pimp!!!

This board is tight. Is has so much more pop than my old hyperlite RPM. The landings on this board are sweet too. First time I hit the wake with this thing it sent me into the flats. A great all around board.

While this board doesn’t have the explosive pop of the Byerly or Parks, it is a very consistent board for all wake sizes and water conditions. It has a mellow transition, but really grabs when on edge. It has super smooth landings and it is effortless to spin.

I’ve bought many other hyperlite boards, but danny knows what he’s doing. His design makes sense, explosive pop and fast board speed makes for the best ride you can buy. watch out foor the sliders, they like to eat chunks out of the tip and tail.
