2002 Double Up Nelson Pure Ride
Nelson's Pure Ride has all of the same features found in the 138 and 141, but includes our molded in fin system for added stability. If desired, the Pure Ride also comes with shorter 1 inch fins and mounting holes for pure tracking with an easy release. Remove the center fins, plug the holes and you have an incredible finless wakeboard.

My bud has this board and I have ridden it a few different times now. Its a real smooth gliding board feels a bit like a wakeskate. If you can’t land on this ride then you need to go back to the basics because its the softest landing I have ever stuck. Butter slides and spins is where this board really shines. Now on then other side Tracking is soft and you really need to coast into the wake a dig down hard about four feet from the wake. This was what I like least about the board I like to hit the wake hard from way-out. You cannot pull that off on this ride, you will end up sideways off-edge with no speed. The POP was also weak and I would only get a hard pop ever now and then when everything lined up just perfect. Over all its a good solid board but its getting a little dated and you can ride more aggressive on the newer boards at today.

I was very pleased with all aspects of this board. It’s a great board for all skills and very forgiving. The 1" fins allow great tracking, and it spins and tracks well without fins also. It was exactly what I wanted, an excellent board for a reasonable price. It really rocks!

Take the Normal Greg Nelson shape and fuse it with the carving power of the LF Balance and this is what you come out with. I ride this board with 1.5’’ DU fins and it turns harder and faster than my 01 Nelly does. It comes at the wake more aggresivly and delivers alittle more pop also, but still has the sweet smooth, signiture Nelson ride.

First of all I rated this board in its comparison to the entire board market, there are faster, and more popping boards. But I knew that this board rips. If you like a really smooth and soft board that lands well and spins great this is it. A little heavier than any dna, balsa or stringer board but I have ridden lots of boards and I enjoy a board that pops well into control and lands forgiving in cases of landing and spinning that last few degrees if needed. I love this board, feels like a cross between a byerly and cwb absolute
