2002 Liquid Force Rhythm 147
Fun, it's the reason we all wakeboard. The Rhythm series was designed to capture this feeling. For those days of just wanting to slow things down a little bit and play around with the wake, or for those days of learning to ride, the Rhythm is a perfect prescription. Don't let this idea of fun fool you, though, because the Rhythm is designed with just enough performance features to allow for that needed rush of adrenaline. Nothing too fancy, just clean, smooth lines to let you feel your inner rhythm.

Comments: Ok ok,.. I own about 10 different boards, some new, some older ones, from just about every manufacture. I got to tell yeah, I own two of these babys, a 2002 and a 2001 model, and I bought one for my rather large son in law. Why?... this board is one of the easiest boards to learn surface 180s and 360s that you can ride. It is very easy to get up, on deep water starts and does everything generally pretty well. You will see all kinds of reviews about how "this or that board", "rocks" etc etc but lets be real,. most people do not need an advanced board that they may never have the skills to adequately ride. I see alot of riders do more face planting on "catchy" advanced boards than they do actual riding. Dont fall into that trap. The Rhythm is one of the most forgiving boards out there. It is very catch free, fast and has adequate pop for nearly any rider. The Rhythm has a free ride, loose, flowing feel but still tracks well enough to make it very very fun to ride. Dont let the ease of surface tricks fool you though, as the old girl can still fly wake to wake with some of the best (and more expensive) boards out there. They are starting to get a little hard to find now,.. but if you are just getting into the sport and are lucky enough to come across a new or lightly used Rhythm, I would not hesitate to grab it. I generally have lots of different style riders/boards in my boat,... everybody still loves and likes to ride the Rhythm!

This is my 4th year riding wake on my 3rd board (although I’ve been sliding sideways for over 2 decades on concrete and snow). I’m a big boy now and this is the ticket for all those that enjoy beer and pizza, or are aging and want to ride for the soul. Check out my review on the LF EZ bindings.
