2002 Hyperlite Project DNA
"I have been on a board from the skate/edgy series for a whilenow. Ricky and I helped design a totally new shape last year, and it hasdefinitely benefited our skills on the water. For my style of riding I likea board that has a little extra bite when I land from off axis tricks. I alsolike a board with as much response as I can get when I initiate a turn. The only change this year for me was I went up to the bigger size 142Project. The extra surface area gives me a little more boot off the wakeand it helps out on landings."

I’ve been riding for a few years and I have not found a board that suits me well until now with the Project 142 DNA. It is an awsome board and I recommend it to any one who wakeboards more than 5 times a year. It is the S#@T.

Everything I wanted in a board. It has the loose feeling that allows you to break through, but when you put it on edge it locks down. The continuous rocker is awesome! Combined with the DNA core you get huge pop but the difference is that its under control. Whenever I locked down hard with the Byerly and hit the wake I went huge but it was hard to conrol...with the continuous rocker I can control the air. When you land it bites hard for that split second that you need to control the landing and then its loose again. Im not sure how they did that...I think it might be the fin shape. The landings are the softest I have ever felt, even in the flats. I can’t believe they stopped making this shape for 2003 cause its the best board I have ever ridden.

I tried Parks, Belmont, Byerly, and Latitude. This has been the most consistant board yet. Very sticky on the landings and a solid grip on edge. Well worth the extra for DNA core.

I love this board. Previously, I owned a O’Brien Phatty. There was no tracking or sticking of landings. The Project DNA has awesome tracking, landings, and pop. You can still so surface tricks easily with 4 fins. Best board I’ve rode yet.
