2002 Hyperlite Motive 134
The shape that started the molded-in fin craze. This board combines thefloaty feel of the original freeride shape, and the extra carving andstability from the shallow outer fins. A board series for first timeriders or for Murray’s winning run at the Worlds.
Shaun Murray designed this shape two years ago, and its’ a series thatwill be around for a long time to come because of its universal appeal. For riders that are just getting into the sport, the outer molded-in finsalmost act as training wheels, giving the extra stability a rider needs tolearn the basics. As the boarder progresses and wants to cut into thewake, the fins almost act as gas pedals giving a stronger, grippier edgehold. The center fin is moved in further from the end of the board thanmost. This allows the board to break free quicker and easier whether it’sa simple wake lipslide or a corkscrew 540 off a double up. Our bestselling series for 2001 is now even a better value.

This board is phat yo. It got a major pop off the wake. To get major pop ya gotta come in like a screaming banshee ya gotta be careful cuz ya could do a major header.

its a really good board to begin on and overall its sweet

Take off the fins to make it give a little on bad landings.

This board is great off of the wake. GREAT pop off the wake. Easy to slide out on hard cuts. Landings are very smooth. Great for the beginner, not bad for the more advanced.

i just started wakeboarding this past summer and i didnt get this board till the end of summer, but in the 2 or 3 times i rode this board my skill level increased ten-fold. i was getting a lot more air with less effort and it was way smooth and stable. i also learned 360’s after only a couple sessions on this board. this board + ultra suc bindings= excellent combo!

really nice board, but while youre cutting you often feel yourself kind of sliding out a litttle, sometimes you hvae to stop your cut then go back and try again because that sliding messes me up sometimes

The board has incrediable cutting ability. Little wobble on landings. Great for spinning. The board responds nicely to give a very smoth and controled ride. Not too crazy about the 2003 graphics, liked to 02 better. Did not rate sliders on this board because I like too much to mess it up....
