2001 Hyperlite Byerly 142
Scott Byerly created a line of boards with a quick edge-to-edge feel for riders that want to get bucked. Squared end Profile gives the most snap off the wake. Two 2.0" Byerly Fins a classic ramp style fin with a slightly quicker release off the wake. Deep Cupped Rails act as a turn-down edge providing a quick edge-to-edge feel. Vented Channels increase the speed of the board when on edge. Full Rail allows the board to sit higher in the water for a quicker release off the wake. 3.35" Center Fin Placement for a stronger edge hold up the wake and an overall "killer" feel. Scott's approval- nobody abuses a wakeboard more. This board was built to withstand his punishment. Scott Bouchard Innovation- all Byerly boards are designed and shaped by the innovator "Butch".

We got this board for my husband, who is about 20 pounds heavier than me, and I felt like I had to wrestle this board to much to enjoy it, after being used to having a older 136cm board. The pop was OK, tracking was stable. I liked the Belmont 140 a lot better.

good board. A little slow and it isn’t great around waves but it has great pop.

Board cuts like a ski and pops off the wake like a champ. Landings are soft, but watch the front edge spinning or you will be talking to the fish! Most stable board I have been on.

This is the best board I have ever ridden. It is a pretty slow board, which I like for my riding style. Just take a really hard cut and you can easily keep that cut all the way through the wake. With a cut like that, It will pop you real good too. It is superstable and just sticks to the water on landing.

FUN BOARD TO RIDE! GETS GREAT LIFT OFF THE WAKE AND HOOKS UP GREAT WHEN GETTING AN EDGE! CUPPED EDGES MAKE IT A LITTLE SKETCHY ON TOE SIDE IF YOUR NOT CAREFUL WITH NARROWING TAIL! BETTER WITH A FISH FIN! OVERALL IT’S THE BEST RIDE I’VE BEEN ON AND WE’VE TESTED A BUNCH! AN ADVANCED RIDERS BOARD!

doesn’t ride well in rough water but awesome on a smooth day

This board is shaped for a living legend, right there should give you a clue on how it is going to ride. although i found it to be a little slow to begin with i soon found out i could sit on my edge and come in to the wake exactly how i wanted to everytime. only on rough water was this board squirrely. tracked great, popped excellent. spun like a top, what can you say it is the Caddilac of wakeboards!!

Awesome pop with some nice hard edging. It hits double-ups better than any other board I’ve tried and sticks them nice and smooth also. Wasn’t quite as fast as I wanted it to be but made up for it with the awesome pop off the wake. Give it a try and charge those double-ups.

It took me a few minutes to get used to the flat spot on the board but as soon as i did i fell in love with it.

This is my 3rd byerly board but my first hyperlite. I was really impressed with the quality of the finish and the sharpness of the graphics. tracks well, a little slow though. Excellent "bucking" pop. highly recommended, but with all wakeboard gear, try before you buy.

this board is good for people how have been riding a little or long time. I have rode this board many times and so have my many family members . and if you have Byerly bindings it makes it look good.

This board is great! My first board was a belmont(good board) but I was looking for something a little "edgier" and more responsive-and that’s what I got with this board! It tracks so tight! I’m hitting the wake faster and harder than ever-and that means more pop! Board can get lose on the landings if you hit its flat spot. But I like the flat spot because you can "butter slide" forever! Basically- if you have the fundamentals down and you want something that is going to react quickly and still be sooth, this is the board!
