2008 Tige 22Ve
With its flowing V styling and breakthrough functionality, its no wonder the 22V is a leader in the 22foot sportV category. Like its big V sister, the 22V features an expanded cockpit and bow area for allday relaxation. Convenient storage is located throughout the boat. The transom activity center includes a cooler and two compartments for easy access to drinks, gloves, soap and other small items. On the performance end, expert riders are clearly blown away by the unweighted V wake, calling it superior to top competitors fully weighted wakes. Watersport versatility is also unmatched. In 4.7 seconds, the worldclass wakeboarding wake becomes an exceptionally clean slalom wake with just the push of a button.

Overall one of the greatest boats out there. We've had Mastercraft, Moomba, and Centurion owners drooling over the wake we're able to get with the Taps system and a little bit of ballast. I would highly recommend this boat due to the quality for the price you pay. The fit and finish is better than most of the high dollar boats. Why pay for an Escalade (Mastercraft) when the Denali (Tige) is the same thing (minus the emblems)if not better in most ways. If you don't care what emblems are on your boat, but want something with great wake and performance then Tige is the only way to go. Also has one of the best warranties out there.
New to the boat owning world, look at boat shows, dealerships and online for nearly 4 years prior though. The main reasons that I chose the Tige 22Ve over Malibu, Supra, and Moomba was mainly build quality. Don't get me wrong, they are good boats, but the thickness of the transom, the materials used, the thickness and application process of the gel coat, the hardware and fastners are much better in the Tige. I have seen cut outs of the transoms and different parts due to a friend in the aftermarket accessory boat business and the transom is nearly twice as thick. I choose Tige over Correct Craft and Mastercraft (the build quality is very equal) due to the fact of some of my key features in a boat. The ingress on the boat was a lot easier with the walkway in back plus the reversible step down cushion adds to the longevity of the vinyl, the air mesh (vision air) chair allows for rapid drying of the driver, I perferred the seating layout, the TAPS system, it is the only boat that I know of that has a convexed hull that allows wake adjustability with a elevator ie TAPS plate in back, it works like a plane and is not a drag system. The fact that you can change the wake characteristics from mild to wild in 3 seconds and not have any deterious effects such as weight or drag mechanisms employed by others, you see the benefits in handling, stress on the boat and fuel economy. The number one reason I chose Tige was the Life time warranty that states if it breaks they don't fix it, they replace it. Tige has a very tight community of riders and boat owners and a company that stands behind them. They are very approachable and do listen to their owners. I purchased a 200 22ve with 320 hp and had put 32 hours on it from Sept to Mid Oct before having to winterize it. I would not choose a different boat, except maybe the 24RZ2 in the future.

Looked at Mastercraft and Malibu. But because of there dealers we decided on the Tige and we could not have made a better choice. Wake is ok with no weight but to do inverts and spins you should go ahead and get the factory ballast. After the ballast are full the wake is very solid and gives excellent pop. I would advise taking a ride in the 22ve it is a very solid boat and have a great all around wake.
