2006 MB Sports B52 V23
The success of this boat lies in the principle of starting from the bottom and working your way up. Quite literally, Mike Brendel and Cobe Mikacich, pro rider and staff consultant, started on the bottom of the boat and redesigned the keel with a revolutionary new rocker pattern. The technological advancements have produced the "MB HyperWake" a new breed of wake designed for maximum lift.
The B52 V23 comes equipped with a ballast system that can quickly engulf up to 2,000 pounds of water and thrust it into the integrated tanks. This allows the boat to cut a heavier impression through the water for maximum wake size.
This boat also has plenty of sex appeal to match its authoritative nature on the water. New, hearty aircraft aluminum towers with sculptured billet designs, give the impression this boat is a work of art rather than the ultimate wakeboard machine. At 23 feet, this boat is built to handle all the fun that family and friends can dish out.

I picked up a repo 2006 MB B52 V23 right before Memorial Day and have put over 60 hours on it in less than 3 months. The PCM motor is awesome. The thing runs like a champ. The interior is still in great shape. A little TLC and my boat looks almost brand new. Rear storage lockers are huge. I fit my 5' wakesurf board in there no problem. The wake is pretty good for surfing with just the stock ballast. A little extra weight in the back corner and the wake is money. The wakeboard wake is BIG. Plenty big for my family and friends. We couldn't love the boat any more that we do. I highly recommend MB. This boat is so good in choppy water. A couple things that could be better are the height of the driver seat and the butt step (which is now standard on the newer models) in the back. It's a big drop from the sunpad to the swim step. Overall, fantastic boat!

Interior quality is just ok. The fit and finish on boat could be better. The boat makes a great wake.
This is one of the best wake boats on the market! I love the ballast system. The huge tanks are under the floor, and it is the only system that can fill and empty while the boat is on the move. The two speed transmission gives you the power you need with a lot of ballast + it saves you a bunch of gas! The graphics are all painted into the gelcoat - not big stickers! The rear storage is amazing. I can easily put 6 wakeboards with bindings back there + it is big enough for a wake-surfboard and skyski! One other thing that most people don't know is this boat has a great splash guard built into the hull. It keeps a lot of water off your cold/wet wakeboarders and windshield. MB is the only company with this feature, which I love! MB rocks!
This wake is saick even with just factory ballast 2500 poundes its awsome and i love the 2 speed trans. Awsome boat
Ok.. these reviews are no help at all. Get real people, write a real review!! I've ridden behind the x-1, Correct craft 210, Sanger 215, Calabria Pro V II, Malibu VLX, and the B-52 23 foot. The reason? I'm buying one of these boats but to spend 50k, I first needed to be sure its the one for me... The x-1 is a proven wakeboard boat, good on gas, great name and a huge wake... The correct craft 210, wake is a little small but real steep, overall pricy for what you get... The 215 nice boat in general, seating, performance, but not a wakeboard boat, wake is just to small... The Calabria Pro V II, well build boat, huge inside, but just to wide. Steeper wake needed... Malibu VLX great wakeboard boat. Nice wake, good seating. My complaint, the boats are heavy gas users. Wakeboarding is already expensive, how much more are gas prices?... The B-52 23 foot (dont buy the 21)The boat is very well built, you really notice when you sit down. Lazy boy driver seat. Nice through choppy water, and turns on a dime. My only concerns: the tower could be stiffer, it can move side to side. Only one ballast pump per tank, reversible pumps are not as reliable. They need 2 pumps per tank. Lastly 2500lbs of H2O is a lot. But lets be honest, thats what we all put in our boats.... Overall this is how I see it THIS YEAR #1 MB #2 Malibu #3 Mastercraft #4 Correct craft #5 Calabria #6 Sanger and the rest. Sorry to Tige', and Supra never rode.
