2006 Malibu Wakesetter 247
There is plenty of room for all in the new 247 LSV. While built on performance bloodlines, this boat also meets the criteria for the all-important hours when nothing matters more than being together. The Wakesetter 247 LSV offers more: more seating, more ballast and more pulse-quickening styling plus features that create an entirely new standard in wakeboarding boats today. The Wakesetter 247 LSV rides upon the V25 hull. Combined with the new Power Wedge and standard 1150 lbs. of ballast, it churns up the biggest wakes in the business. Optional bow ballast tank of 300 additional pounds for the glutton.

I love the boat inside and out its great, but the wake is freakin terrible. The wedge is quite possibly the worst invention I've ever seen.

Wow, does it get any better than a 247.

If you are looking for the perfect wakeboarding boat for you and ALL your friends, this is it! It is true Malibu! The only thing that I found out afterwards is that the Malibu speed control will not track for surfing. :-( Only tracks down to 11mph. Malibu says it is because of the size and the way the water runs under the boat. Don't get me wrong on the surfing though. With enough weight (ALOT IS NEEDED) You will have the largest and longest surfing wave out there, but it comes with a price. You better have at least 5 guys around 200lbs. to produce a killer wave. We use full ballast plus extra sacs to get the size we want. Great boat, but if you only surf, you might want a smaller one for speed control.

overall I like this boat, It's handling was better than my last boat(25' power boat), great storage & comfort. The demo boat that we rode had about 25 hours on it and the it still looked like new. $70,000.00 with all the bells is still a little high in my view.

This thing is sick! The wake is huge. Gotta go with the power wedge. It makes a perfect surfing wake, its huge. Biggest of any boat by far. It handles like a 21 footer. Has no bow rise. I have the 383 and it cruises at 46 MPH no problem.

Demo day - speed control did not work, the racks scratched my board, the seam was starting to rip where people were stepping into the boat, and with ten people in the boat the wake was still super rampy.

Malibu has produced a killer boat for both the family setup and the wake scene. Im stoked on the boat and had a blast demoing the new ride
